Experience Lagos @50 In London This Weekend At NOTTINGHILL
LONDON Will be hosting Lagosians and lovers of the beautiful state of excellence as the world celebrates Lagos at 50 and the Ekopolitan Experience.
The 3-days event tagged “Love Lagos Weekend” will start with MC Abbey Comedy Concert on Saturday, 26th August, followed by the EKOpolitan Experience on Sunday, where people can come and enjoy and experience “Lagos” in London, and the highlight event of the weekend which is the Lagos Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival on Monday 28th August.

The Lagos State team to London for these events is headed by the Lagos State Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture, Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola and the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde.
The Producer of the events, Ayo Shonaiya says, “As we’ve been doing for over 30 years, producing the Nigerian Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival, it’s just getting better and better, and with Lagos State’s involvement since last year, we’ve now added the EKOpolitan Experience to it, which is aimed at promoting the brand Lagos to the world”.
