Nollywood actor, Emeka Amakeze has reacted to a viral story of a man who asked his wife to fry plantain for him after her father’s demise. Recall that a man told the story of how his dad told his mom to fry him plantain the day his grandfather died.
Emeka Amakeze His grandfather, the father of his mother passed and on hearing the news, the mom was devastated since she was close to her dad. Later that day, when her husband returned from work, he asked her whether she had heard the news earlier. Instead of offering her comfort, he instructed her to fry him some plantain. Emeka Amakeze reacted angrily to this, questioning his father’s lack of emotional support for his wife and harshly criticising his attitude. The actor added that empathy is gradually disappearing among humans. He wrote: “That man no too get sense, I swear. What kind of a man tells his wife who just lost her father to go fry plantain for him instead of being her emotional support? And people who would not fry plantain if they lose their phones think the woman should go fry plantain. Empathy is indeed disappearing among humans.” SEE POST:
