Nollywood actor, Emeka Amakeze has reacted to a viral story of a man who asked his wife to fry plantain for him after her father’s demise. Recall that a man told the story of how his dad told his mom to fry him plantain the day his grandfather died.

Emeka Amakeze His grandfather, the father of his mother passed and on hearing the news, the mom was devastated since she was close to her dad. Later that day, when her husband returned from work, he asked her whether she had heard the news earlier. Instead of offering her comfort, he instructed her to fry him some plantain. Emeka Amakeze reacted angrily to this, questioning his father’s lack of emotional support for his wife and harshly criticising his attitude. The actor added that empathy is gradually disappearing among humans. He wrote: “That man no too get sense, I swear. What kind of a man tells his wife who just lost her father to go fry plantain for him instead of being her emotional support? Five UNIUYO students arrested over their landlord's missing plantain

Five students of university of Uyo have been apprehended after their land lord’s plantain went missing.

According to reports, the students were apprehended in the early hours of Tuesday, March 29 on the request of their land lord.
Although, in a recent development, Saviour Udoh, a businessman revealed that he has secured bail of the students.
The businessman said:
“I’ve succeeded in securing BAIL as thier SURETY for the five (5) students of the University of Uyo who were arrested earlier this morning by thier landlord. I want to specially thank the Dean students affairs, University of Uyo for his swift response, the SUG president & vice for thier support, presence and solicitations too.”

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has stirred massive reactions on Twitter after he recounted his experience at the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos State.

The former senator from Kaduna central recalled that while in the prison in the 90s, he had observed that visitors were not allowed to bring plantain or banana to female inmates on the grounds that they were ‘not good for their digestive system’.
In his words: “When we were in Kiri Kiri prison in the 90s,I observed that they don’t allow visitors to bring plantain or Banana to female inmates,when I asked why,they said it’s not good for their digestive system. I was enlightened.”
Netizens, however, reacted to his tweet with mixed views.
