Court Papers Is Out And Burna Boy’s Name Is Excluded (READ)
As the case against three suspects who allegedly attacked Mr 2Kay after his performance in October’s BuckwlydnBreathless concert at Eko Hotel was heard in court earlier today, Burna Boy and his manager’s names were excluded from the charge note.
Joel Kantiock who manages Burna was paraded among the suspects a fortnight ago while the police doubled down on their claim that the ariste had a case to answer. On his part Burna Boy denied that he was on the run as alleged by the police commissioner, Edgar Imohimi.
In court today, the only defendants named were the three attackers arrested for carrying out the robbery. Damini Ogulu and Kantiock were left off the charge note.
It is not clear if that means that the charges against him have been dropped as he gears up to close the year with his headline concert on December 17th.
