A young man has stirred reactions from Nigerians on social media after sharing a video of his father who has a small stature. In a video which was shared via his official TikTok account @walmart1805, the happy son lifted his father and placed him on his shoulder.

While many praised him for being proud of his father, others claimed that he shouldn’t have carried his father on his shoulder. Patience said: “Acknowledging him as a good father is awesome but carrying him on your shoulder is disrespectful.’ Adesina Abosede wrote: “I know this Father He is a Baptist, so respectful, and Hardworking Father.” Laura Chinyere reacted: “I love the fact that u are extremely proud of ur dad but carrying him on ur shoulder is a very big nooooo for me ,that’s disrespect.” Ezeudo Foster reacted: “Our proverb, said that if you carry our father up,ngwongwo na ngwongwu kept chie give Anya.meaning that everything many things will cover your eyes.Ndi igbo what do we have to say in this situation.” Lulu Victoria reacted: “Hmmmm….
