The remarkable story came to light when philanthropist Dennis Mbugua took to Facebook to share the inspiring moment. The post featured a photo of the compassionate lecturer, identified as Ruth Mburu, carrying the sleeping baby on her back while actively invigilating an examination.

Mbugua commended her extraordinary effort, emphasizing that Ruth Mburu had gone the “extra mile.” “The lecturer picked up the innocent baby and continued invigilating the exam. This is extra mile…blessings beyond blessings, big up madam,” Mbugua wrote on Facebook. Her willingness to assist a student in need, even during the rigorous examination process, has been widely praised by members of the online community.
