Mavin First Lady Tiwa savage is in for a great year in 2017, the first lady of Mavin records will be performing live at the ESSENCE “Black women music festival”
The event will hold in Los Angeles on Feb 9 2017 which happens to be the same week of the Grammy Awards.
The music festival is majorly organized to show respect for to Grammy nominees for the year and also to celebrate Four time grammy winner Erykah Badu on the 20th anniversary of her debut album “baduzim”
The Essence president Michelle Ebanks had this to say about having Tiwa Savage for this year’s event. “Our collaboration with The Recording Academy underscores the mission of our ‘Black Women in Music’ platform.

The Mavins first lady also expressed her excitement about what she considered a privilege via her instagram page and wrote “2017 is looking great already … Guess who is performing at the Official Grammy week Essence event.”
The star had a good year in 2016 she also expressed her feelings that 2017 would be a good year also.
