Nigerian wigmaker Helen Williams, who recently received approval from Guinness World Records for her application to create the Longest Handmade Wig in the World, has announced the official date for her record-breaking attempt.
Weeks ago, Hair Rita 9ja’s CEO shared a screenshot of the email from GWR, confirming the approval of her application for the record.
With her expertise as a wigmaker, wig instructor, and educator, Williams expressed her excitement about taking on the challenge of creating the Longest Handmade Wig in the World. Now, she has disclosed the official date for the record-breaking event. The attempt is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 7, at 767 Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, beside Area 1 Estate Gate. Sharing the post, she wrote “I was approved by Guinness World Records Few Weeks Ago for ‘Longest Wig In The World Attempt’. Initially, I didn’t want to announce it yet.
