As we all know that the Famous Agege-bees Musician has been arrested by the police for illegal possession of firearms. This brought to our notice the statement he made in an interview exactly a year ago. December 2017.
A Year Ago, Small doctor told the press that he has never been convicted for any reason and would never do anything to warrant such… Just a Year after.. We have this news of unlawful possession of firearms???

The ‘Penalty’ singer said, “It is true that I was a bus conductor and a commercial motorcyclist. I also hawked sachet water but I thank God for the gift of life now because I am one of the most sought-after artistes at the moment. I just feel that there is no limitation to what anybody can achieve in life. Those locked up in prisons are human beings too and that is not the end of their lives, so I decided to reach out to them.
Also, my colleague, Lamboginny, reached out to me and said he wished we should go to the prison and perform for them, so I gladly agreed. I have never been a prisoner and I laughed when I learnt that people thought I was once an inmate because of this gesture…;The Omo Better Singer said.
Small Doctor who has had relative success in the music industry since he burst onto the scene a few years ago will need to defend the allegations in court.
Police didn’t say when the Agege-bred singer and his gang would make their first court appearance.
According to Section 3 of Nigeria’s firearm act, which prohibits the possession or control of firearms, any person(s) found guilty shall be “liable to a minimum sentence of ten years”.
Section 4 of the same act, which restricts the possession or control of personal firearms, as well as Section 9 which restricts the possession or control of ammunition in respect of certain firearms, also states that anyone found guilty of violation is liable to serve jail term “not exceeding five years.”
