People of the masses decided to ignore 2face’s action on the February 6th Mass protest. In lagos today, reports reaching us made us understand that some other celebrities who has vowed to stand by 2face’s decision to lead a protest calling for change in the governance in Nigeria headed by Buhari.
2face Idibia – the original convener of the February 6 protests against bad government in Nigeria released a video on February 4 announcing that the planned protest has been called off.
Hundreds of Lagosians have however defied him to go ahead with the march this morning after meeting at the National Stadium in Surulere.
Many of the protesters that include celebs like Seyi Law and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi disowned 2face Idibia by taping over the popular ‘#Istandwith2baba’ hashtags on their placards.
Hush actor, Baaj Adebule and Charly Boy are also among over 500 Lagosians that came out for the march.
They moved on to the National Theatre, Iganmu.
