It would be recalled that GOE made a track where he dedicated most of it to praising the internationally recognized Afrobeat star after which Wizzy acknowledged it with N20M cash gift.

The Wizkid effect skyrocketed GOE from 119K followers yesterday to 229 and rising as of the time of this publication. “Please pray for me” — Diezani pleads amidst £100K bribe trial in UK

The embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, appeals to Nigerians for their prayers as she faces charges of corruption, involving multi-million pounds, in the UK. The United Kingdom National Crime Agency (NCA) had accused her of accepting bribes in the form of cash, luxury items, private jet flights, and the use of upscale properties in the UK in exchange for the awarding of oil contracts. These alleged acts occurred during her tenure in former President Goodluck Jonathan‘s administration between 2010 and 2015. Following a hearing in the fifth-floor courtroom, Diezani was reported to have expressed, “I need prayers. Please pray for me,” while engaging with members of the Nigerian community in the UK. It is worth noting that On October 2, Michael Snow, the district judge at the Westminster Magistrates Court in the United Kingdom, granted Alison-Madueke bail in the amount of £70,000 after judging her “a flight risk.”

Popular Afrobeat artist David Adeleke known well as Davido has disclosed that he now charges $100K for one feature. Davido made this revelation during an interview on the Bootleg Kev show. According to him, the changes and his new charge have been drafted in a document by his lawyers. The “Unavailable” hitmaker disclosed that the $100,000 which is equivalent to N45 million comes with a video and applies to only artists that he knows. However, the charges for a feature with an artist he isn’t familiar with may go high. The video has attracted different reactions from social media users. Watch the video below.

The video went viral online and he earned praise from celebrities including Tunde Ednut, who shared the video.
