A US based Nigerian lady, Sophia Idahosa, has caused a stir in the black community as she breaks the record for the first woman to do a Christian BBL. The content creator who is on Instagram as sophiology, shared on her Instagram story the amount of vitriol she has received from Netizens. Sophia is a YouTuber and she posted her video on YouTube, two weeks post operation from the Christian BBL. Content creator and YouTuber, Sophia Idahosa. Although she understands that most Christians advocate for natural bodies, Sophia believes that anything that would enhance one’s appearance is worth it. The content creator understands that many young Christian women look up to her, she still chose to do the Christian BBL as it felt fitting. Since her announcement of her surgery she has faced numerous backlash, however she stands on her decision and asks that people withdraw their judgement and criticisms. How three of my friends died from BBL complications

Russian-born Nigerian actress, Fari Elysian, opens up on the tragic story of losing three of her friends to complications arising from failed Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries. She revealed that these friends passed away due to complications following the butt lift procedures to enhance their body.

Content creator, Fari Elysian Fari discussed this challenging experience in a recent episode of The Time podcast, hosted by Victoria Gure and Folasade Abimbola. In her words, “We just started short films, Afro Tales, whereby in every episode we give people different stories; stories that everybody can relate to. “Also being a position whereby I lost three women that I knew because of BBL [Brazilian Butt Lift]. And it wasn’t a funny feeling. You know somebody and the next thing you hear is that she had a complication, she couldn’t walk and then she died. Different cases. So, I had to go into it [BBL] deeper. We had to write a story about that. And we did one episode of Afro Tales that was about BBL.” Speaking on how she met Don Jazzy, Fari Elysian added; “Don Jazzy featured in my skit but nobody knows that he responded to me after one year after my video went viral and he saw it. And before we could shoot, it took him another four months before created time for me. But Don Jazzy, baba don try for me.”

Kanayo O. Kanayo warns daughter against against BBL surgery

Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo has strongly criticized individuals who choose to undergo Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. The renowned actor shared a story he heard from a friend in the United States about a man who convinced his girlfriend to undergo the procedure, with tragic consequences.

According to Kanayo, the young lady developed complications after the surgery and contracted a severe infection. The situation deteriorated to the point where her boyfriend couldn’t even stay in the same room with her due to the foul smell emanating from the infection. Unfortunately, the young lady passed away just a few days later. Expressing his dismay, the actor proceeded to curse any boyfriend who would ever encourage his daughter to go through a similar ordeal. He questioned why anyone would willingly subject themselves to such pain in the pursuit of beauty, asserting that the procedure is not worth it.

In a written statement, Kanayo posed a thought-provoking question “If bum enlargement were truly profitable, why wouldn’t husbands provide financial support for their wives to undergo the procedure?” He likened the popularity of bum enlargement to secondary school relationships, which often don’t progress beyond a mere 3% chance of leading to marriage. Doyin speaks on why she won’t undergo BBL surgery

BBNaija star, Doyin says she’s not under pressure to undergo BBL surgery as her brand is based on her intellect. She said this while speaking on an interview with Punch Saturday Beats.

According to Doyin, she hasn’t faced any humiliation for being a slim lady and has, as a result, never felt any pressure to enhance her body. The reality star and podcaster stated that her brand doesn’t depend on how she looks but her intellect. “I have not faced any pressure or discrimination as a slim lady. Looks do not really matter, because my brain does everything. In my opinion, the BBL trend is fading out. My brand is not based on how I look; it is based on my intellect and what value I have to bring to the table,” she said.
