The highly anticipated season 8 of the Big Brother Naija reality show will officially kick off at 7 pm today and the first look inside the BBNaija house had fans raving. This year’s edition themed “All-Stars” would be featuring some favourite housemates from the previous seasons.

GistReel reports that the show organizers confirmed in a press conference on July 14 that this season will feature carefully selected housemates and fans’ favourites from previous editions of the show – See Gobe, Double Wahala, Pepper Dem, Lockdown, Shine Ya Eye, and Level Up, The Executive Head, Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, Dr. Busola Tejumola said, “It has been seven years of engaging our viewers, the industry and the fans. This is the biggest show in Africa and once Big Brother is on, the majority tune in. Fans should watch out for new versions of the housemates they used to know.” “We appreciate MoniePoint Nigeria for joining us as lead sponsors of this promising season and partnering with us to pier the dreams of the talent who will thrill us this season with beautiful performances as we get reintroduced to fans’ favourite housemates. “Of Course, fans can expect to get up close and personal with the housemates through their diary room sessions.” This, therefore, means that, for the first time in the history of the BBNaija reality TV show, fans will again watch some of their favourite housemates from previous editions as they come back into the house with another chance at earning the number one spot in the game of wit, strategy and character. This comes amidst the promotion for the upcoming edition of the show where ex-housemates of the show get a chance to win a grand prize of N120M.

Here is to second chances,” the tweet from DStv Nigeria stated. In response, Tacha cleverly referenced the popular Telenovela movie, Second Chance, to express her criticism of the announcement “Second Chance ko El Salvador ni,” she wrote in a quote to the organizers’ tweet.

BBNaija reality star Whitemoney has disclosed why he ditched his plans of venturing into the cooking business after the show. According to the Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye winner, Whitemoney, he decided to ditch his plans of cooking because no brand came up to sign him.

Whitemoney said: “I was already into music before (going on the Big Brother Naija reality show). It is just that I was doing more of a highlife. Back in the day, I had a band and everything, and there was no media to really show us out, but I did my thing low-key. I have been in music for a long. I got my scholarship as a drummer to go to school. “When I came out (of Big Brother Naija show), the opportunities that presented themselves were not cooking opportunities. In fact, no cooking brand came to me. For those who are saying, ‘When this one start singing?’ I think they forgot that 99 percent of the music composed in Big Brother house was done by me,” he added.

Popular reality star, Phyna drags organizers of the BBNaija show as she alleges that they edited out scenes where she was heavily insulted and shamed during the ongoing reunion. It may be recalled that the reunion program of the BBNaija show had witnessed a bitter quarrel between the two former besties, ChiChi and Phyna, during which they had hurled insults on each other.
