Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, is beaming with joy after securing an impressive five awards at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Afolayan, known for his exceptional work in the movie “Citation,” took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude for the recognition and accolades he received.

In his heartfelt post, Afolayan expressed his gratitude and shared his excitement for the recognition he received. He wrote; “All thanks to Olodumare. 5 awards. Congratulations to the winning team. Thanks to @naijanetflix for the partnership to make the film and thanks to @africamagic for the recognition.” Afolayan extended his appreciation to his fans, acknowledging their unwavering support.

He referred to them as the “#kunlesfolayanfans and soldiers” and expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the #kunlesfolayanfans and soldiers out there.” The accomplished filmmaker also gave credit to his collaborators, specifically mentioning Netflix for their partnership in creating the award-winning film.

He said; “Thanks to @naijanetflix for the partnership to make the film.” Furthermore, Afolayan expressed his gratitude to Africa Magic for recognizing his work and honoring him with the awards. He said, “Thanks to @africamagic for the recognition.” Afolayan also took the opportunity to thank his mother, well-wishers, and loved ones for their prayers and support.

He acknowledged their role in his success, stating; “Thanks to Maami and all my well-wishers for the prayers and thanks to families and friends for the support.” To conclude his post, Afolayan revealed exciting news about his upcoming project, “Animal all: Rise of the Spectre,” stating, “On to the next one ‘Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.”
