Afrobeat artist and record label owner Davido has reacted to his recent nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards. The 2024 Grammy nominations have been released, with Davido, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, and others all making it to the list. Recall that last month, Davido officially submitted his musical masterpieces for consideration at the 2024 Grammy Awards. This was made known after Joey Akan, a music enthusiast and popular podcaster, published the details on X, shedding light on the different categories in which Davido’s work is in contention.

Source: Google The list of nominations was released after this, and Davido has bagged three nominations, namely, Global Music Performance, Global Music Album, and African Music Performance nominations. Davido has taken to his X page to react to the nominations. He tweeted, “3 nominations at the Grammys! Delay is not denial!!” See his tweet below… 3 nominations at the Grammys!! The Times reported that it is unlikely that the takeover will be completed before the start of the new 2023-24 season. 
However, Guinness World Records are yet to officially announce the new record of Hilda Baci. According to them, they will have to review all the evidence first before officially confirming the record. However, Nigerians seem not to be content with the response of Guinness World Records as they storm their official page to drag the institution.
