The popular Twitter influencer made this public via his account on the app, @UnclePamilerin. According to him, a lot of people are fond of celebrating getting on a flight but he is of the opinion that it is not a big deal. He insists that it is just a regular means of transportation, like buses and trains and not anything special. “Lagos isn’t a no man’s land; it is a Yoruba land” – Yul Edochie cautions against tribalism

Controversial actor, Yul Edochie has asserted that the metropolitan city, Lagos belongs to the Yorubas and the notion that it belongs to no one is invalid.

In a post on his Instagram page, he revealed that he had moved to Lagos in 2011, built a home there and has never been treated badly or been prejudiced against by the Yorubas. The movie star dismissed the belief which seems to be causing a lot of contention on social media that Lagos belongs to no tribe as incorrect. He likened making such claim about Anambra state; he said that the state belongs to Igbo and it’s equivalent, Lagos, likewise belongs to the Yorubas. The proud polygamist warned people to avoid tribalism before it causes great harm to the society. His post reads: “I’ve lived in Lagos since 2011. Built my house in Lagos. Not once have I experienced any form of hate or rejection from the Yorubas. Anytime Yoruba boys see me on the street, they gather to greet me, and it’s all love always. Popular actor and polygamist, Yul Edochie has sent a message to Nigerians expecting him to fight his colleagues over their choice of whom to vote for.

In a post shared on his official Instagram page, the father of five explained that the three major patties’ presidential candidates are all good friends. They’re wealthy, and regardless of the outcome of the election, they’d still be secured and unaffected. According to him, election isn’t a war and since the politicians are not fighting each other, one shouldn’t expect him to do so with his colleagues when they make their choices on whom to vote for. In his words; “The Presidential candidates of the 3 major parties are all friends. They have a lot of respect for each other. They’re Billionaires whose families are all secured no matter the outcome of the election. They are not fighting each other.
