The actor has shared a video responding to claims that he became severely addicted to drugs. It’s no longer news that Anuku has been the target of drug-related rumours in recent times, mostly because of his unsettling new appearance. However, the actor unequivocally declared that he doesn’t use narcotics in a video posted to his Instagram story. He went on to say that he had turned to alcohol for comfort when he was depressed. How I survived depression after my husband took a second wife
May Edochie, the first wife of veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has revealed how she fought and survived depression after her husband took a second a wife.
The mother of four, who has continued to receive comfort from Nigerians, faulted people who accused her of making a fortune out of her predicament.
In a video, the actor’s wife recounted how she survived a terrible depression, noting that rather than dwelling in it, she picked up the beautiful world she once had and moved on.
“I saw a few comments, some people saying May is using this to cash out…and I am like, it’s fine.
“I don’t wish this upon my enemies if at all i have any. Depression is real, and it’s in stages.
“Rather than dwell in depression I decided to pick up the beautiful world, a very beautiful world that I had and moved on. It’s not been easy….” said May in the video.

Meanwhile, according to her husband, Yul, he married his second wife, Judy Austin, because he could not let go of her after their bond kept growing as they appear on-screen.

Popular vocalist, Omah Lay, opens up on depression and the turn it took after he spoke to a professional about it.
The singer disclosed this on Twitter following the release of his latest album ‘Boy Alone.’
According to Omah Lay, he fell into depression after his babe broke up with him which triggered the need to seek help.
However, he revealed that he ended up sleeping with his therapist which inflated the condition.
In a lengthy tweet, he wrote;
“I wanna spill my heart on this app like this like this. Boy Alone might be the last time y’all will hear me cry on a song, On G I was dead ass down, insecure, scared, depressed, loosing my mind like I was literally gonna kill myself.
