Festival of Joy: Glo holds draw for another house winner in Abuja Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has held another draw for a new winner of one of the three-bedroom houses in its Festival of Joy promotion. The draw was conducted at the company’s office on Aminu Kano Crescent, Abuja, on Thursday, January 19, with the media, several Glo subscribers, and representatives of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in attendance. Globacom disclosed that the winner would receive the keys to the house at a prize-presentation event to be held on Friday, January 20. The Festival of Joy promo has so far produced winners of houses, brand new cars and other prizes in several cities across the country, including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Ibadan, Ijebu Ode, Warri, Benin,
Jos and Abuja. More winners would emerge in the coming days, the company said, adding that subscribers who wish to participate in the promo are to dial *611# and keep recharging (voice and data during the promo period) to be eligible to win the prizes.

The draw which was held at Gloworld premises on Murtala Mohammed way was witnessed by the representative of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Mrs. Mariam Imam, the media, and Glo subscribers.
Globacom disclosed that the lucky winners from the draw will receive their prizes including a brand-new car, generators, sewing machines and rechargeable fans at a presentation ceremony to be held at the same
Gloworld location on Tuesday, January 10.
Globacom said, “If you would like to be the next Festival of Joy Landlord, you are required to make data subscription(s) of at least N20,000 during the promo period, while those who are interested in winning cars should make a monthly recharge of N10,000; N5,000 monthly recharge for power generators, N2,500 monthly recharge for sewing machines and N500 weekly to win rechargeable fans.
To participate in the promo, subscribers are required to dial *611# and keep recharging (voice and data during the promo period) in order to be eligible to win the prizes on offer.​
The festival of joy Promo is offering a total of 20 houses, 24 brand-new cars, 100 generators, 200 sewing machines, and 1,000 rechargeable fans to subscribers.

A few days after the Christmas festivities, Globacom held another draw in the city of Port Harcourt to pick a winner of another 3-Bedroom apartment in the Glo Festival of Joy promotion.
The draw event was held on Thursday, December 29, at Gloworld, located on Aba Road, Port Harcourt, and was witnessed by several Glo subscribers who were in the shop to transact business. Also in attendance were the media and representatives of the regulatory agencies, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) (are we sure about this? The lucky Glo subscriber who emerged winner of the 3-Bedroom apartment in the draw will be presented the keys to the house at a ceremony to be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, in Port Harcourt.
Globacom disclosed that “in the new year, more prizes will be presented to winners across the country as we take the train to several other cities yet to be covered”. Apart from the houses, the Glo Festival of Joy promo also offers thousands of other amazing prizes including brand new Kia cars, power generators, sewing machines and rechargeable fans to subscribers in celebration of their loyalty to the brand.

MAN UNITED IN A DRAW TIE WITH LIVERPOOL AT ANFIELD

Man United continued their impressive record against Liverpool in the English Premier League, holding the Reds to a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Monday.

In the second half, Manchester United created the first chance at goal after Pogba curled in a fine cross but his long range pass was headed back across goal by Ibrahimovic in the 54th minute.
Five minutes later Emre Can forced a brilliant save from De Gea who dived down low to his right to deny the German midfielder.

In the 71st minute, De Gea pulled another great save this time tipping Philipe Coutinho’s stunning strike.
The draw sees Liverpool move up to fourth spot while Manchester United occupy the seventh position.
