Rema took to his Twitter page to share a throwback video from a 2020 interview where he expressed his desire to take Afrobeats to India and leave a lasting impression. “You see Afrobeats, I want to take it to the next level. I want us to get into the India zone. Why can’t we shut down India?” he passionately stated during the interview. After three years of unwavering determination, Rema was ecstatic to finally achieve his dream of shutting down India.
