He revealed that his academic performance, reflected by his 2.2 undergraduate degree, initially presented a significant obstacle in his pursuit of further education. His applications to foreign universities, including renowned institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, were met with rejection. Undeterred by these setbacks, Obi turned his attention towards a European university. Despite the challenges, he applied and successfully secured admission to pursue his studies. Motivated to prove himself, Obi approached his academic journey with unwavering determination and commitment. To the astonishment of many, Obi not only surpassed his previous academic performance but also emerged as the best student in the European university. Four years later, Obi’s hard work and outstanding performance led him to the position of an associate professor. Moreover, his software, BuildTech, gained approval from a prestigious UK body, opening up new avenues of success for him. This accomplishment resulted in Obi obtaining a special visa to establish a software lab in London. He wrote; “I graduated with honours(2:2) for my undergraduate studies, which wasn’t an excellent feat. This was due to personal issues and strangely struggles against words spoken to me by a Prophet that I won’t do well academically if ever I chose that path. “I applied to 3 Universities in the UK for my Masters studies and got rejected. With that I applied to other Universities in USA, Canada and got rejected as well. With over 16 rejections, I proceeded with great determination to Cyprus to study. “I told myself I only could turn my story around. With increased focus and developed study patterns, I graduated with High Honours(3.8) for my Masters Studies and was offered a place for PhD and with same determines and few mistakes aswell, I graduated as the best student that year and was the Valedictorian. “Last year my software in BuildTech got approved by the UK endorsement body and this year obtained an Innovator Migrant Visa to establish a software lab in London.”

However, the APC officially zoned the Senate President to the South-South (Akpabio), Deputy Senate President to the North-West (Barau Jibrin), Speaker position to the North-West (Abass), and Deputy Speaker to the South-East (Kalu). Some APC hopefuls rejected the party’s position and called for a review of the formula to include the North Central geopolitical zone and not give two positions to the North-West.

Joy’s scores in English Language, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry were broken down as 98%, 89%, 94%, and 81%, respectively. The commissioner of education in Anambra state, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, commended her performance, describing it as “excellent and very outstanding”. The state government also reacted to the news, with a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Charles Soludo, Christian Aburime, saying that Ejikeme’s excellent feat brought joy and celebration to her school and Anambra state as her teachers, parents, and fellow students were thrown into a euphoric and exhilarating mood. The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has emerged as the winner in Zamfara State.

The collation officer for the Zamfara State presidential election, Professor Kashim Shehu of the Federal University of Birnin Kebbi, announced the results in Gusau, the state capital, in the early hours of Tuesday. Kashim noted that Tinubu won 12 out of 14 Local Government Areas in the state, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party won two. According to the results announced at the presidential election collation center, Tinubu polled 298,396 votes. The former Lagos State governor was closely followed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 193,978 votes. Other top contenders were Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) who scored 4,044 votes and the Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) with 1,660 votes.

Shehu declared that votes in 167 polling units were canceled due to over-voting, insecurity, and disruptions by thugs. The total number of registered voters in the state was 1,879,308, while 527,137 of them were accredited for the poll. A total of 502,923 valid votes were recorded and 16,508 void votes, bringing the total votes cast to 519,431.
