Following her divorce from Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, his ex-wife Hiba Abouk breaks silence following their rocky divorce.

Abouk stated that despite the rape charges against Hakimi, she was at peace with the situation but needed time to come to terms with the shock. She also revealed that the couple had been going through a divorce since Hakimi’s accusation of rape in February. Speaking to ELLE, Hakimi’s ex-wife said, “I am fine. There are days when it is like this, and others in which you’ve to know how to take blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, and get used to new situations.”

Hiba Abouk added, “Who would’ve imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that a separation entails and accepting the grief that the failure of a family project to which I had given myself body and soul entails, I would’ve to face this ignominy? I needed time to digest this shock. When you separate, you restructure your life, but it’s not anything special either: you’ve to take iron out of the matter. It’s true that, with two children, it is emotionally complicated, but I’m not the first and I will not be the last. The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and having done everything I had to do. There are decisions that cannot be made overnight. For me it’s a premise not to rush in moments of crisis.” On the other hand, it has been alleged that resolving the settlement may pose difficulties since Hakimi has reportedly listed a significant portion of his riches under his mother’s name. Abouk and Hakimi are parents to two children, Amín and Naim, aged 3 and 1 respectively. The couple tied the knot in 2020, after getting acquainted in 2018.

Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku has spoken out regarding the scandal surrounding the divorce of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

According to the actress, it is unlikely that any mother, particularly an African mother, would completely let go of her teenage son, regardless of whether he is married or not. Njoku went on to suggest that many of the contracts signed by Hakimi were likely signed when he was underage, and therefore, putting his assets in his mother’s name was not intentional.

Instead of attempting to recover her husband’s assets, Njoku believes that Hiba Abouk should have focused on making more money for herself. Peter Okoye reacts to Achraf Hakimi’s divorce scandal

Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye, has expressed his views regarding the divorce scandal of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

Recall that, Achraf Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk filed for divorce after the footballer allegedly cheated on her while she and their children were away in Dubai and is allegedly demanding half of his assets. However, she was informed by the lawyers that her husband has no legal assets, as all his properties are in his mother’s name.

In response to the scandal, Peter Okoye stated that he does not understand why men are celebrating this story. He believes that people should not marry women they do not trust, unless they expect their wife to suffer after the divorce. “#MyOwnViewsAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it. The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to surfer after divorce?” He wrote.

Achraf Hakimi’s wife breaks silence on rape allegation against him

Hiba Abouk, wife of Moroccan football star, Achraf Hakimi has disclosed that she was already separated from the Paris St-German player before he was charged with rape.

The Paris Saint-Germain star has been under investigation by French authorities following an allegation of raping a woman at his home in the Boulogne area of Paris on February 25. According to Le Parisien, Hakimi had been talking to the alleged victim on Instagram since January 16. He allegedly paid for an Uber to drive her to his home in a Paris suburb. The victim claimed he assaulted her before she was able to free herself by kicking him and texting a friend to pick her up. Addressing the allegation in a statement released today, March 27, the 36-year-old Spanish-Tunisian actress said she doesn’t live with Hakimi anymore and they are in divorce proceedings. Hiba who also stated that she will always be on the side of victims, added that the charges brought her “shame” and she “needs time to digest this shock.”

She wrote; “The reality is that a while ago, after a lot of reflection, the father of my children and I made the decision to end our relationship, long before the recent media events that have involved me, which are totally external. “It goes without saying that I have always been and will always be on the side of the victims, therefore, given the seriousness of the accusations, we can only trust in the good work of justice. “I needed time to digest this shock.” Hakimi met Hiba while playing for Borussia Dortmund and they married in a secret ceremony in 2020. Their first son was born that year and another two years later.
