Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, stirs emotions as he claims that signs from the late Mohbad could have been noticed if people paid attention to his lyrics. During his interview, Patoranking was asked about Nigerian music and how he contributes to humanity through his songs instead of leading a glamorous life and neglecting his people, unlike some artists.

Nigerian musician, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro has disclosed that he won’t record any ungodly or dirty music. The “Who is your Guy” hitmaker has taken to his page to disclose the main motive and component of his music and why he prefers to tow a different lane from his fellow music colleagues.

An Islamic cleric better known as an Alfa is captured on tape quoting the lyrics from one of Seyi Vibez’ hit songs while preaching. A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a cleric opted for music lyrics other than Quranic verses to preach to his congregation.

He continued by encouraging his congregation to hold on tight to the lyrics and not take it lightly.
