Famous Nigerian skit maker, Brain Jotter, opens up about his humble beginnings, and how he earned a stipend salary while doing menial jobs. During a conversation with Big Brother Naija star Kim Oprah, Brain Jotter disclosed that he used to sell bedbug killers.

Before gaining admission to the University of Lagos in 2020, he worked as a laundry employee to make ends meet, earning a N15,000 salary at the time. The following year, when he transitioned to selling bedbug killers, his income doubled to N30,000, marking the highest amount he earned before his skits gained widespread popularity. His grass-to-grace story has since sparked inspirational reactions from social media users who applauded his consistency over the years. A young lady has clashed with a young man on Twitter after he disclosed that he will never marry a woman who spend N15,000 on makeup. The clash between the young lady and the man came about after she posted on her Twitter page that she found a makeup artist who will b charging her N15,000  for her makeup.

Source: Twitter The young lady initially disclosed that the earlier price she got from a makeup artist was N25,000 which she couldn’t afford. Hence she searched for a makeup artist who will charge her lesser. In response to the photo, the man, identified as Ridwan Aremu Adedapo, expressed his disapproval, stating that he cannot marry a woman who would spend N15k on makeup. “God knows I can’t marry a woman that will use N15k to do makeup, never!” he wrote, quoting the lady’s photo. In response, the young lady fired back saying, “That’s why I’m not and can never be your wife.” The young man, who was unwilling to let the issue slide without a response, wrote, “You don’t have what it takes to be my wife.” See the banter between the young lady and the man below.

A Nigerian man identified as Pooja has shared his experience with a corps member who asked him for help.

According to Pooja, the corps member sent him a DM requesting for help, and he was able to render help to the corper.
Days later, the corper sent a message asking for his account number to send the money back, a gesture which Pooja wasn’t really comfortable with.

“A guy was going for NYSC, he entered my DM and asked that I raise him with some money to buy stuff to take to camp. I struggled to send him N15K cos he showed all his documents as evidence.
Today, he said he got his first alawee & wants to repay me. I sent my acc details. He sent the money & I went back to his account details in my DM & sent it back with DASH as the remarks.
I was very touched & I hope he will enjoy his NYSC. Good mind ❤️🙏”
