Reality TV star, Khafi Kareem, has taken to Instagram to share her fears about becoming a mother. The mother of two said her major fear about motherhood is losing her identity and being recognized as just a mother without any accomplishments. She shared this via her Instagram page today, June 2.

However, she maintained that she decided to embrace motherhood with all her heart because it is a beautiful experience. Furthermore, she shared a lovely picture of herself and her sons, Malakai and Mikah fast asleep in bed. She wrote: “Long caption alert! hey everyone, it has been a while, again lol. we are six months into the new year and I haven’t been online as much as I’d have liked!! thank you for all the DMs checking if I’m okay and letting me know you missed me, I missed you too! “Truth is, my fear after becoming a mum was that I would be viewed only as a mum. I was so afraid of what my reality was becoming and how fully encompassing motherhood was that I just preferred to be offline and didn’t want to “bore” anyone with my new reality lol! but the truth is that motherhood is everything but boring! “I am a multifaceted blessed woman with many parts of me and they all still exist (my dreams are still valid and you’ll be seeing more of them), but right now one of the most important roles to me is being a mama to these two baby boys @malakaiandmikah. “So I’m not going to run from it or hide it anymore. I am a mama and proud, and yes I’m absolutely exhausted most days and nights as you can see from the picture! but when my husband @gedoni captured this photo after both our boys ended up in our bed yet another night, I couldn’t help but stare at it again and again. “It’s just raw and real and I love it. Hilda Baci, the renowned Nigerian chef also known as Hilda Effiong Bassey, shared details on how long it took to decide the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time. During an interview with TVC on Thursday, she revealed that five years ago, she had contemplated setting the record, but circumstances weren’t favourable at that time.

Hilda Baci continued to postpone it until 2023 when all lights were green and triumphed with over 100 hours setting a new record. In her words; “I thought about it five years ago, but then it wasn’t the right time. “I still had to go on a journey of self-discovery as well before I got to this point where I could confidently say, ‘oh I am ready to do this. I can afford to pay for it and I have the right team that will come together to make it happen’.” Watch the video below …

Hilda Baci opens up on toughest moment during cooking marathon

After her record-breaking achievement, Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, shares her thoughts on the event, including her toughest moment. On Monday, May 15, the 27-year-old chef made history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking time.

Hilda Baci cooked continuously for 100 hours, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes held by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019. Her cooking marathon began on May 11, 2023, and concluded late on May 15. During the event, she cooked over 200 meals and served them to an impressive crowd of more than 4,000 people. In a recent interview with Pulse, Hilda spoke about her achievement, revealing that the most challenging part of the marathon was the first six hours, during which she had to pray for strength.

“I am amazed at the outpouring of love from Nigerians towards achieving this record. The first six hours were the toughest for me, and I had to pray to God for strength,” she said. “I appreciate everyone who took the time to support and encourage me by visiting the venue to cheer me on or driving the conversation on social platforms. “Your unwavering passion to see me succeed through this attempt is heartfelt. I am grateful to my family, the various teams that worked with me on this project, and fans from all over the world who kept the passion going,” she added.

Burna Boy opens up on why he dumped football career for music

Damini Ogulu, a Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician better known as Burna Boy, explained the reason behind his switch from football to music. He made this known during a conversation with British-Nigerian media personality Julie Adenuga.

According to the self-acclaimed African Giant, he was skilled at goalkeeping, but he didn’t enjoy the position because he felt insignificant. Burna Boy said, “I love football. I was good at playing football but the wickedest thing was that I was good at goalkeeping. That’s why I just stopped because [goalkeeping] was dead. I didn’t feel so important. I just didn’t feel like I was needed like that. I felt like without me the team will still be alright. I don’t want to spend my life like that.” Burna Boy has released five studio albums, beginning with his debut single ‘Like To Party’ in 2011. In 2021, his fourth studio album, ‘Twice As Tall,’ became the first and only Nigerian album to win a Grammy award.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo opens up on sickness, lauds Oyedepo’s support

Senior pastor at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, opens up on how he battled an undisclosed sickness. He addressed concerns over his health after frail and thin pictures of him surfaced online last year. The pictures were taken at Old Trafford, Manchester, England, where he was with his wife, Modele, and other church members. It is worth noting that when concerns were raised about a possible sickness deduced from the pictures shared on the church’s Instagram page, the comment section got disabled. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo on May 11, 2023, attended an International Minister Conference organized by David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, in Ota, Ogun State, along with other pastors.

Recent Photo From COZA’s Instagram Page During the event, he confirmed that he was sick last year and testified about his recovery, but did not disclose the nature of his illness. Fatoyinbo mentioned that while he was receiving medical treatment, his mentor Oyedepo was praying for and speaking blessings over him. “Last year, I was a little bit ill and against everything, the medical sciences, Papa (Oyedepo) spoke, and I am here today. And I want to give God the glory!” he stated. Pastor Biodun also mentioned that he had been a drummer boy in the early days of Winners Chapel before receiving a call from God to start his own church. He testified that he had been observing Oyedepo from a distance for many years, but his life took a remarkable turn when he got closer to him. He also stated that COZA, similar to Living Faith Church, is acquiring properties and operating like a franchise, where all branches resemble the headquarters, thanks to his mentor-protege relationship with Oyedepo.
