Kenny Blaq refuses to lodge in hotel over portrait of Buhari hanging on wall (Video)

Renowned Nigerian comedian Kenny Blaq found himself in the midst of controversy during a recent visit to a hotel on the day of President Bola Tinubu’s inauguration. The comedian’s visit took an unexpected turn when he noticed a photograph of the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, still prominently displayed on the hotel’s reception wall.

Expressing his surprise and disappointment. He said; “Na Buhari still be president for here oh, ahn ahn.. we can’t afford it.” His comment alluded to the fact that the hotel’s failure to replace the portrait with that of President Tinubu suggested a lack of readiness for the new era. In a video capturing the incident, the receptionist and another staff member can be seen and heard attempting to assuage Kenny Blaq’s concerns. They apologized for the oversight and assured him that they were in the process of replacing the portrait with one of President Tinubu. Pleading with the comedian not to leave, they promised to rectify the situation immediately. See below;

A Nigerian artist has cried out online after his shop was burnt beyond repair, with Peter Obi‘s portrait untouched. In the video, the victim revealed that every single artwork in his shop caught fire except the one of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for labour party.

The owner of the shop said in the video: “Omo God is faithful, see shop this morning, out everything that was in this shop, this was the only picture that was revived. Everything single thing was burnt down except this picture.”

Davido reaches out to talented artist making a beautiful portrait of him, his daughter and late mum

An exceptionally talented artist has drawn the attention of sensational singer, Davido, to an artwork he’s making depicting the crooner.

The gifted artist took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to share photos of an artwork his making of the singer, his daughter Imade, and his late mum.

Although, from the artwork’s white space, it seems that there are other people the talented artist was yet to include in the portrait.
The artist, Identified with the handle, @dammycrisis_ pleaded with netizens to help reshare the pictures till Davido sees it.
Luckily for the young man, the singer saw the portrait and expressed his interest.
The artist, wrote:
“Hey Twitter.. I Hope my new artwork of @Davido will be in his new house on the banana Island and I’ve got architectural ideas for him too.. 🙏🏽Abeg help your brother.”
