Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he hopes to stay at the club for 20-25 years, ahead of their London derby against Tottenham. In a recent interview, the Argentine gaffer said although it is uncertain, he hopes to stay longer as the Blues manager. “Hopefully, I can stay at Chelsea until I die! 20 or 25 years, but you never know in football.” While he holds on to his ambitions, he has left the door open to the possibility of managing Tottenham Hotspur again in the future. The managers comments came ahead of his first return to Tottenham since he was sacked four years ago. He will lead a Chelsea side into the much anticipated Monday night Premier League game, with eyes set on snatching a win against Ange Postecoglou’s men who are yet to lose a single match this season. He said, “Who knows? It’s like life; you never know what is going to happen tomorrow. We need to enjoy today and not look too much into the future.” Pochettino joined Chelsea in July on a two-year deal, with the option of a one-year extension. He has only spent four months in his current contract.
“It’s a big possibility” – Ederson speaks on Ancelotti becoming Brazil’s coach
Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson has shared his thoughts on the possibility of Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti becoming the new coach of Brazil’s national team. Brazil is yet to announce a new head coach months after Tite decided to step aside after a disappointing 2022 World Cup campaign. Though Ancelotti and Real Madrid have both recently denied speculation of becoming Brazil’s new coach, Ederson said he and his national teammates have been discussing the possibility. He said at a press conference; “I was discussing this with Casemiro, Vinicius Junior, [Eder] Militão. There is a big possibility that he comes. “Just look at his CV. We will know shortly whether he will be here or not. I hope we can have a new coach quickly. I feel the anticipation too because there’s too much speculation. Is it a Brazilian or a foreign coach? We are also living that phase of anxiety.”
