Why I keep my life away private – Zainab Balogun Renowned Nollywood actress, Zainab Balogun opens up on her decision to maintain a private personal life and keep it separate from the public eyes. The British-Nigerian actress made this known in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

Zainab Balogun emphasized that having one’s private life exposed to the public can lead to various challenges and complications. She emphasized that compared to other celebrities who live for the gram, she is more of a traditional person. In her words; “It was a deliberate choice because I’m very conscious of the separation of power between the industry and myself, and when you dabble into all this without the consciousness of what the consequences are, it is quite problematic. “My personal life is very personal. It’s not out for public consumption. That’s not my work, that’s my life. “There are people who do not have issues with talking about how they spent a hundred thousand dollars on an outfit they wore to the AMVCAs. I would not be that person because there is not a lot of truth in that. I have to be conscious of my audience and the people I’m setting the pace for. It is a lie that nobody needs. “So, I’m okay with giving you that which I’m okay with you criticising or having an opinion on, but I’m quite traditional, so my personal life is not for public consumption nor the opinions of others.”

The relationship between Nigerian singer, Yhemolee, and his girlfriend, Tayo has allegedly crashed after she found private tapes of her friend on his phone. Reports have been making the rounds about the singer’s affair coming to an end over controversial reasons.

Tayo’s friend allegedly sent private photos to Yhemolee despite knowing that he was in a relationship. Yhemolee had received the photos with a face beaming with smiles, and thus, did not try to caution her or report to his girlfriend. Tayo found out about what was going on and after failed attempts to make things work, their relationship hit the rocks. The furious friend wrote: “The fact that my guy is filthy rich doesn’t mean I should act so stupid or act dumb to all his mistakes. I will let you know. “To hell with you and your money if you are not ready to take corrections. My close friend kept sending you nudes and you didn’t tell me your gf anything about it but instead you like it and keep wanting more. “Y’all calling Tayo dumb cause she broke up with Yhemoleee are so foolish and crazy. PUMA sends its private jet to fly Davido to England for Manchester City’s Sunday match

Popular clothing brand, Puma sends its private jet to their brand ambassador, Davido Adeleke to fly him to Etihad Stadium to watch Manchester City play against Chelsea. The brand had taken to their Twitter page to showcase some of the jersey they had created for Manchester City.

Slay queen fumes after being criticized for making money via her private Snapchat

A slay queen has expressed her displeasure after being criticized for making money via her private Snapchat account. The lady who is yet to be identified was reported to have charged N100k for access to her private snaps with a promise to increase the fee to N150k by the weekend. It was gathered that the controversial statement was made on her Snapchat account, and someone screen captured it and forwarded it to a site where it was posted. This action led to the lady receiving backlash from social media users who criticized her for engaging in such an activity. She maintained that her focus is on making money and that she is already doing that. She also expressed her indifference towards people’s opinions about her. Famous Nigerian female music artist, Tiwa Savage has lamented about the stress she goes through with her luggage when travelling. Recall that Tiwa Savage was invited amongst other artists to perform at the coronation concert of King Charles III, at Windsor Castle.

Tiwa Savage performed the ‘Keys to the Kingdom’ track which she sang with Mr. Eazi in collaboration with Beyonce from The Lion King album. A few days after her performance in The King’s Palace, Tiwa Savage shared a video of her at the airport where she had about 14 pieces of luggage to check-in. She was seen lying it up while she checked in. Lamenting about the stress she has to go through, she disclosed that she needs a private jet to carry all her luggage at once in order not to go through the stress at the airport. Labour Party presidential candidate for the recently concluded Nigerian presidential elections, Peter Obi was spotted in the video arranging a private jet flight for an elderly man whose flight from Asaba to Abuja was canceled and rescheduled for later that evening.

Despite the setback, Peter Obi quickly intervened and secured a private jet to transport the elderly man. While some social media users expressed surprise that Peter Obi could afford to book a private jet, others commended him for his kind gesture. However, there were still some who criticized him, with some seeing his actions as purely politically motivated.

Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has said that his private life is his business and thus owes no one an explanation about his divorce.

IK Ogbonna and his ex-wife, Sonia Morales got divorced a few years after their marriage in 2015. The former couple was blessed with a son. However, the news of their marriage crash started circulating in 2018 and by August 2019, Sonia confirmed the union was over. Following his long silence over his divorce from his ex-wife, IK Ogbonna told The PUNCH in an interview that his marriage and divorce are his private life and doesn’t see why he should speak publicly about it. In his words; “I have never said the cause of my separation, it has been all speculation and I would like the public to hold on to those speculations if they choose to do so. “My private life doesn’t necessarily concern the world but, what I choose the world to know is what I make the public know about me. Things that don’t work out don’t mean I and the person would fall apart, or I come on social media and start saying these are the reasons why it did not work. It didn’t work but we are still friends.”
