Burna Boy reportedly makes $750K following performance at 2023 Coachella

Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy, reportedly received a payment of $750,000 (N577.5M) for his performance at the 2023 Coachella.

The Coachella event took place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California and was held over two weekends, which started on April 14 and ending on April 16, 2023. Burna Boy entertained the audience for 50 minutes on Friday, April 14, and allegedly earned $750k as his booking fee. Business journalist Trung Phan revealed that the headliner and other musicians in the first row were paid $4 million, while a lower amount was fixed for those on the second row, where Burna Boy was placed. “Interesting rule-of-thumb for the Coachella poster. Nigerian man arrested for reportedly drugging girls and trafficking them to Libya

A Nigerian man, Adebisi Muideen, has been arrested by the Osun State Police command for allegedly drugging young girls and trafficking them to Libya.

A statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola on Tuesday morning revealed that the suspect had successfully moved the four girls, to be trafficked to Tripoli in Libya, to Kano from Ile-Ile, Osun state before he was caught. According to the statement, the suspect invited the young girls to a birthday party, served them food and laced their drinks with sleeping pills. “After taking the food and drinks, the girls slept off and later woke up in Kano state en route to Tripoli, capital of Libya. However, three of the girls escaped miraculously in Kano and called their parents who reported the matter to police. “The three of the girls have been reunited with their families but the whereabouts of the fourth girl was still not known presently. The suspect said the girls willingly accepted to go to Libya to work, adding that his brother who resides in Tripoli instructed him to get girls for him and send the girls to one man in Kano who will take them to Libya from Kano. When we got to the man’s house in Kano, we met so many girls that were being processed for the journey to Libya,” he added.

A theatre art student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) makes a scene after being reportedly possessed by the spirit of Sango deity being portrayed in the act.

During a drama performance at the school’s auditorium, a student portraying the role of a deity lost control and was rushed out. The EKSU student seemed to be unable to stop the demonstration of Sango and forced to be moved out by hefty men who struggled while at it. “See how Sangos spirit showed up today during obakoso performance by theatre arts students Ekiti State,” the caption reads.

TikTok user identified as Abbie of Lagos set tongues wagging as she unveils her newly acquired house a year after relocating abroad. Expressing gratitude over her newly acquired property, Abbie revealed that her journey in Canada has not been an easy one.

“Thank You God is what I have been saying on repeat throughout this day. I left for Canada on the 5th of April 2022 and closed on this beautiful home on the 5th of April 2023. The journey of building this house started 6 months ago, there have been ups and downs but God did it, despite the crazy real estate market in Ontario and crazy bank rate in Canada, God still came through,” the Nigerian immigrant wrote. Judy Austin, Nollywood actress and second wife of Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie, has allegedly welcomed a baby girl with the actor. According to blogger, Gistlovers who broke the news, the actress welcomed the baby about three weeks ago but decided to keep it a secret to avoid backlash.

This news is coming shortly after the first son of Yul and May Edochie,, unfortunately died due to a seizure he had while playing football. Yul Edochie reportedly loses first son

Ace Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie loses his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie after he was rushed to the hospital for falling unconscious. According to Vanguard, a source who had spoken to them on the condition of anonymity revealed that Yul has confirmed Kambilichukwu’s death at the time this report was filed. May Edochie’s sister who was at the scene said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today, 30th of March. After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and that’s when he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital.
