During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ronke Oshodi expressed her deep remorse for affiliating with the APC, as they shattered her aspirations of contributing to the country’s improvement. Ronke Oshodi shared her heartfelt sorrow for the individuals who lost their loved ones, and those injured during the EndSARS tragedy, stating her regret for having associated herself with the party. “I feel APC was going to take Nigeria to the next level’ that’s how I felt. Even while we were campaigning for them; I didn’t collect much, I am not looking at the money,” she said in part. On the issue of EndSARS, she accused the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of lying three times consecutively. “When that ENDSARs came up, I was soo down. Ronke Oshodi-Oke concerned as daughter resumes class after getting poisoned at same school
Renowned actress, Ibironke Ojo-Anthony, also known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, discloses effort in place for her daughter to resume school after bieng poisoned. Some days ago, the mother of two had called out the school where she pays N1.3M yearly on her daughter over their negligence that almost got her daughter killed. During an interview with Saturday Beats, Ronke Oshodi-Oke stated that even though her daughter had resumed classes, she remained deeply troubled and concerned. Ronke Oshodi-Oke on daughter resuming school “I cannot be at peace letting her go back to the same school. I have called her more than five times today (Thursday). Whenever I call and she does not answer the phone, I would be worried. However, I know the people in the school would have seen the video I made. I will still go there on Monday to have a meeting with them. If they don’t tell me what I want or respond well, that is when I will mention the name of the school. We don’t know the people who actually did it, but according to them (the school), they are investigating the issue.” Whether her daughter getting poisoned had to do with her fame “This did not happen to me because I am a public figure. There have been similar cases of children even losing their lives in similar circumstances. “The devil is living in some people’s children. The children we are talking about here are between the ages of 16 and 20. I see them as children, and I wonder why such children could think of doing something so evil. When they become proper adults, what would they then do?” Tips to daughter to avoid getting poisoned again “I did not let her go back without strong warnings. I told her that whenever she wants to eat, she should be careful. I also told her that she should never leave her food or drink unattended to for whatever reason, even if she is going to the toilet.”
