Yul Edochie deletes all photos of second wife, Judy Austin and their son

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has generated a buzz on social media by deleting all images of his second wife, Judy Austin, and their son.

This move has raised questions as the actor has been uncharacteristically silent since the unfortunate demise of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie. Yul Edochie has removed all photos of Judy and their child while still retaining images of his first wife, May Yul Edochie.

Interestingly, the post he shared in April 2022, which announced the birth of his second son and marriage to Judy, has also been removed. Moreover, all posts made in April 2022 have been deleted, except for one featuring Yul and his father. This deletion spree includes posts where he celebrated Judy, including one commemorating her birthday in January 2023. A Ugandan man identified as Simon has alleged that the veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, is his biological father.

He claimed that his mother had informed him that, in 1984, she had traveled to Nigeria to work as a housemaid. After which she returned to Uganda pregnant and gave birth to Simon. Additionally, Simon mentioned that several individuals have informed him that he bears a resemblance to Pete Edochie, which he believes is evidence of his biological paternity.

Falana speaks on son, Falz ’embarrassing the government’

Prominent Nigerian human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, speaks on reports concerning his musician son, Falz, ’embarrassing the government.’

During the 2nd anniversary of the Oluyinka Odumakin Lecture in Lagos on Sunday, Falana stated that his son, Folarin Falana, a.k.a Falz, brings shame to the government due to his experiences growing up. As a legal practitioner, Falana stated that he was arrested frequently, which caused his son to question whether his father was a criminal.

His remarks came shortly after the release of a new song by Falz and Vector, titled “Yakubu.” Falana’s Statement on Falz Embarrassing the Government “One of these guys one day said, ‘Falana talk to your son; he should stop embarrassing the government’. I said which government? You mean that boy who is an adult? Can I give you his number so you can talk to him? But be careful because when that boy was growing up, I was being arrested from time to time. So, the only language he understood was detention, arrest and the rest of them. “One day, when that boy was six, he asked his mother, “Our teacher taught us that only criminals were arrested. Is my father a criminal? Why is he always being arrested? And the mother had to say that in Nigeria, under the military, only two sets of people were arrested: Criminals suspects and political suspects. Political suspects are those who are out to expose the criminality of the government. That is what you see going on.”
