However, when she couldn’t bear it anymore, she decided to call off the relationship despite being advised by her friends to endure the pain since money was involved. However, she maintained that the emotional pain was too much to bear, causing her to stop focusing on her brand and almost shut it down. @Juneau65 reacted: “My cousin’s wedding was cancelled a week to her wedding from her husband’s people, she is happily married to a doctor and has twins 2boys.” @CJ commented: “Currently facing same thing returned my Bride price before my court wedding. A broken relationship is better than a broken home, I know how u feel dear.” @i am qwin bee said: “I’m proud of you because I can relate they’ll blame you and you’ll receive lots of backlash from friends and family lol but you’ll be fine.” @sweetpraize reacted: “Just called mine off today. It’s the most difficult decision I had to make but I guess it’s for the best.” Watch the video below: @thatmelaninlady It finally took a lot to share this out here. Feminist rants as suitor suggests 50/50 split

GistReel

A self styled feminist has narrated how a man had enraged her by suggesting they split bills equally. The lady with the handle @PrincessUkoko on Twitter revealed that she was in talking stage with a guy who said they’d have to split responsibilities seeing that she advocates feminism.

She stated that she had bashed him for suggesting this. According to @PrincessUkoko, relationships should be seamless, and not contractual. Excerpt from her tweet reads: “Randomly remembered how I was talking to this guy, first week or so of talking stage and he said something about me being feminist & how we should do 50/50. I don’t even know when I said “May the fire of the Lord consume you & the mouth you used to utter those words” Yes! I want women to work & support their partners financially, but ratio should not be defined, the support should be seamless & not contractual 😊 Me: I want women to support financially, but it shouldn’t be contractual.”
