Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu has provided his health update after undergoing 5 successful surgeries. The veteran updated his fans on his health battle while writing a gratitude post on his Instagram page.

He said he is still healing in the intensive care unit and is waiting to stabilize before traveling overseas to have more sophisticated treatment. The actor thanked the public for their donations and said he was depending on their prayers and steadfast support.

Mr Ibu wrote; “We want to thank God and most especially the General public for their support, encouragement, and prayers during this trying period for our dad. We called on Good Nigerians and we are very grateful for the response in every aspect most especially the donations, it came in very timely and very helpful. So far Daddy has gone through 5 successful surgeries, and he is still recovering in the ICU. Daddy is immensely grateful and we are thankful to the general public during this phase of our lives. We appreciate all the donations made to this account, and as soon as Daddy is better he will personally acknowledge all donations respectively! We are still counting on all your prayers and unwavering support as we pray he gets stabilized quickly to enable us to fly him abroad for further advanced treatment… The John Okafor family is grateful to all Nigerians”. Actor, Saint Von Colucci dies at the age of 22 after undergoing twelve cosmetic surgeries in order to look like BTS singer, Jimin. Colucci passed away early Sunday, April 23, at a South Korean hospital due to complications from his most recent procedure.  His publicist, Eric Blake, shared the news with DailyMail.com on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Von Colucci moved from Canada to South Korea in 2019 in pursuit of a career in entertainment, and went under the knife on Saturday, April 22, to remove jaw implants he had put in last November. All in a bid to look like BTS singer, Jimin. Following the operation, Van Colucci developed an infection and had to be intubated. He died hours later. “It’s very tragic and very unfortunate,” Blake said, adding that his client “didn’t like” his “very square jawline and chin,” as he, “thought it was too wide.” In the last 12 months, Von Colucci spent $220,000 on 12 surgeries, including a facelift, a nose job, an eye lift, an eyebrow lift, and a lip reduction, among others. Saint Von Colucci “He was very insecure about his looks,” Blake explained, specifying that Van Colucci was particularly “unhappy” with his face. Von Colucci’s original features included dark blond hair and blue eyes. He also stood tall at 6 feet and weighed 182 pounds. His publicist said he struggled to get a job because of his Western looks which is why he went under the knife. Blake said: “It was very hard from him to get a job in South Korea. and he felt very discriminated against [because of] his Western looks.”

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, who joined the discuss sent an advice to women who are considering treading the path of plastic surgery.

Noting that surgeries won’t keep a man, neither will it solve insecurity issues, Yvonne added that no one is born perfect.
On Twitter, she wrote: “Woman, know this, no one was born/ created perfect. It may be hard, but work on your mental health / love your self. Pls. Surgeries won’t keep that man, neither will it solve your insecurities. If its for business💰,errm ok.i can assure you, it ain’t worth it.”
