Arsenal intrigued as Havertz scores in new role in Germany's 3-2 defeat to Turkey

Kai Havertz, a typical forward, played as a left-back and scored just four minutes into the friendly match between Germany and Turkey. Although Germany lost the match 3-2, Havertz unusual position in the Saturday encounter was the talking point, leaving Arsenal fans wondering if he could be handed the same position in Mikel Arteta’s team. Havertz who made a £65 million move from Chelsea to Arsenal during summer, has struggled to find his usual form in his new club. He has so far contributed just one goal and one assist in 19 appearances this season. Explaining the tactical move, Nagelsmann said, “Kai won’t always be in this position. I have a great idea, he’s an exceptionally good footballer. This is a very good option. He won’t always play as a classic left-back.” Expressing their excitement, Arsenal fans on social media started making such comments like “Over to you Arteta”.
