A video making the rounds on social media captured the lamentation of a groom who received N20, N50, and N100 notes in bulk at his wedding. According to him, despite the surplus of food eaten by his guests, they refused to spray him N1000, or N500 notes. He pressed on to complain about the condition of the notes for not being mint notes but torn and damaged naira notes. “See wetin una dey spend, una come wedding chop chop even pack go house,” he said in part. A Nigerian man has called out guests at his wedding for spraying dilapidated notes on him during his wedding. According to the man who held his wedding in Benin, Edo State, the guests didn’t treat him right despite eating at the venue and going home with souvenirs.

He lamented that there were no ₦1000 or N500 notes. The money he was sprayed only comprised of ₦100, ₦200, ₦50, ₦20, ₦10 and ₦5. He further added that most of the ₦20 notes he got were torn and in very poor shape. He questioned the guests asking if they knew how much he spent on the wedding hall for them to spray him with such an amount.

Popular Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy has lashed out at fans mocking him after arriving 8 hours late for his concert in Lagos.

It was gathered that the singer had arrived at 3am for his show which was slated for 7pm.
Fans who had waited hours for his arrival began mocking him by booing at him when he finally turned up.
However, this seemed to have maddened the Grammy Award-winning singer who called out all they had done to him the previous year.
He pointed out how they had accused him of shooting someone at Cubana Club and alleged that his mum used to dance for Fela Kuti.
The Odogwu crooner added that regardless of what they had said about him in the past, he’s still turned up for the show; he finished up by jokingly saying to fans: ‘na God go punish una’.
