Funsho Adeoti

Funsho Adeoti, the first wife of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kareem Adeoti seems to have regained her confidence following the news of her husband’s second marriage. Funsho, who has been sharing cryptic posts on social media since the news broke out last year, has now spoken out about regaining her voice. In a video shared on her Instagram page, Funsho stated that it took her quite a long time to develop a voice and now that she has it, she isn’t going to be silent. The mother of four did not give any specific details as to what she intends to do with her voice, but her statement has led to speculations that she may be ready to spill the beans on her marital issues with her ex-husband. Funsho and Lanre Gentry got married in 1995 and have four children together. However, their marriage hit the rocks in 2017 after Mercy Aigbe accused Lanre of domestic violence. Lanre later married another woman, which sparked controversies on social media, with fans taking sides on the issue. Funsho’s statement on regaining her voice has attracted mixed reactions from fans on social media. While some have shown support for her, others have criticized her for not letting go of the past and moving on with her life. In her words; “Happy Sunday! It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent. Happy new week and a blessed week ahead.” It remains unclear what Funsho plans to do with her newfound voice, but fans are eagerly waiting to see what unfolds in the coming weeks. See below;
