Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has lost his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gbadebo voted at polling unit 045 in Anifowoshe, Ikeja LGA earlier today, March 18. The polling unit officer who announced the result said the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 29 votes, while the LP got 18 votes. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) came third in the polling unit with 2 votes.
This is coming amid reports of widespread violence, suppression, and intimidation in some polling units in Lagos state. Gbadebo had already disclosed that he will be heading to court should the incumbent Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, be announced as the winner of the election.
