Drama unfolds at Afe Babalola University, ABUAD after a lecturer confronts a female student, insisting she removes her hijab in the lecture hall. The female student, who wore a hijab, was instructed by the lecturer to remove it before entering the exam room, but she adamantly declined.

This led to a disturbance among the students, with many vehemently opposing the lecturer’s decision and advocating for the lady to be allowed into the exam hall. The visibly shy male students who were the noisemakers struggled to actually dance in an entertaining way, leaving the entire class laughing. A Nigerian man has raised serious concerns and called out Abuad University over the death of a final year student, Ayominde Oluwagbowunmi Oduntan. The university has been accused of negligence and withholding vital information from the deceased student’s parents since Thursday, the day he passed away.

They further alleged that the university attempted to cover up the incident and neglected their duty to communicate the tragic news in a timely manner. The concerned family expressed their frustration over the lack of transparency and demanded an explanation from Abuad University regarding the circumstances surrounding Ayominde Oluwagbowunmi Oduntan’s death. They sought clarity on the cause of death and expressed disappointment that the university had postponed the postmortem examination multiple times, causing further distress to the grieving family. In an update received by our news team shared by @honourmeh1, the autopsy report has revealed inflammation infection as the cause of death.
