With just 38 days remaining in his tenure, President Muhammadu Buhari apologizes for any pain caused to Nigerians during his administration.

He acknowledged feeling fortunate and satisfied as a politician, having previously held positions such as military governor of Borno State in 1976, Minister of Petroleum Resources in the same year, and Head of State from 1983 to 1985. Buhari also expressed gratitude to the citizens for enduring his eight-year presidency, which began with his inauguration on May 29, 2015. Man demands jail term for lady as she apologizes for threatening to accuse him of rape (Video)

A man identified as Richard Osita has demanded for the arrest and conviction of a lady, Bella Nwoko, who had threatened to accuse him of raping her.

Richard explained that Bella had been his childhood friend and he had always seen her as a little sister. However, in 2021, she had threatened to pin a rape accusation on him for turning down her sxxual advances. The lady, said Richard, had refused to repay a loan he gave her and when he insisted that she pay, she once again threatened him with the raape accusation.

A clip shared by Richard on his Instagram page shows the lady making her apology for attempting to sully his reputation. She also chatted him up on WhatsApp, offering her apology for the threat.

Richard who is having none of this has called on the authorities to arrest and prosecute the lady since, if tables were turned, he would have been in custody now.

Seun Osewa apologizes to Igbos over advert on his page

The founder of NairaLand, Seun Osewa apologizes to the Igbos over an advert placed on his platform concerning the just-concluded elections. Seun apologizes to the Igbos via his website, over a political advert that was made on his page. The advert stated, “Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote.” He insists that his platform should have had a “clear policy” against such misleading adverts. Dear Igbo People,
I sincerely apologize for allowing a toxic political banner advert that said, “Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote” to run on Nairaland for several hours on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
The mischievously worded banner advert appears to have been part of an ethnically divisive political campaign aimed at securing Lagos State for the ruling party by instilling fear in Yoruba people, making them believe that Igbo people intended to “take over” Lagos State. Such ethnically divisive political campaigns have no place in a forward-thinking democracy, and for this reason, the ad should have been taken down instantly. No harm was intended, but my lack of forethought about the ethics of that type of advert led to a disappointing outcome. We should have had a clear policy against accepting negative and ethnically divisive ads on Nairaland, we should have communicated it to all advertisers, and we should have taken down any advert that violated that policy instantly. This will all be in place before the next election.
We made almost N16,000 from the ad. We will double it and donate it to victims of political violence in Lagos.
Please, do NOT give up on Nigeria. The times are challenging, but TOGETHER, we will overcome.

Footage emerged on Sunday, February 5, of Super Eagles star and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen apologizing to a lady who was hit by a ball he played during warm-up. Osimhen was seen climbing up into the stands and walking towards the young fan who he eventually gave a heartfelt hug. As he made his way back to continue the warm-up exercise with his teammates, some fans were seen holding on to the arm of the Nigerian player who is currently Seria A’s highest goal-scorer in the ongoing campaign.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has issued a grovelling apology after missing Thursday’s Copa del Rey win over Villarreal to watch an NBA game in Paris. Multi-talented Nigerian singer, Burna Boy finally tenders a heartfelt apology to his Lagos fans after, lashing out at them during his concert.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Oluwadamini Ebunluwa Ogulu had earlier announced that he would be opening the year with his Lagos concert.
On the 1st of January, 2023, the proposed concert failed to kick off in time, due to a 7-hour delay by the Grammy-award-winning singer.

Morocco star Achraf Hakimi has apologized to FIFA president Gianni Infantino after shouting at him following his country’s defeat to Croatia in the third-place World Cup match played yesterday, December 17.

It was reported earlier that during the match, the North African team appealed unsuccessfully for a penalty for an alleged handball from Bruno Petkovic and another when Hakimi was tackled by the Croatian striker.
After the match was concluded, Hakimi confronted the FIFA President and expressed how disappointed he was with the officiating throughout the tournament.

Speaking to the press after his outburst made headlines, the PSG star said;
