Saheed Osupa reacts as Burna Boy gives him new name, applauds his talent

Veteran Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa expresses appreciation to the renowned musician Burna Boy for publicly praising him and giving him a new name. In a widely circulated video, Burna Boy praised Saheed Osupa’s artistic talent, affirming that the Fuji singer is exceptionally skilled in delivering timeless classics.

He wrote; “People that listen and understand the depth of my music are of high IG and are very intelligent. CNN features Hilda Baci, applauds her attempt to break record

International news platform CNN has featured chef Hilda Baci on its page applauding her for her attempt to break the longest cooking record. Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci became the talk and topic on most social media pages after she embarked a 4-day journey to break the longest cooking record set in 2019.

The first female to hold the record of cooking for longest was an India chef called Lata Tondon. She cooked continuously for eighty-seven hours forty-five minutes. However, Hilda Baci has broken that record by cooking for 100 hours, 55 recipes over 100 meals and fed over 3000 people. Social media users especially Nigerians are currently eagerly waiting or Guinness World Records (GWR) to officially crown Hilda Baci the new record breaker. Watch the video below.

2023 elections went well — NBA applauds INEC

Yakubu Maikyau, president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), praises the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their excellent performance in conducting the recently concluded presidential and national assembly elections.

During an interview on Channels TV on Saturday, Maikyau stated that INEC performed commendably in delivering the elections despite facing several challenges. “I will say that the elections went well. Those who came out were happy to express their franchise,” Maikyau said. He continued, “there were challenges, definitely. There were some infractions, some of them actually constituted electoral offences but on the whole, I will score INEC as having performed maybe about 78, 80 percent in the delivery of these elections. That will be an A for every exam. Notwithstanding, all the things that happened which we are not ignoring. That is why we are admonishing and advising INEC and recommending to INEC that in those areas where we saw lapses in the election held on the 25th February 2023, deliberate efforts must be taken to make sure that those lapses did not occur again in the elections that are coming up on the 11th March because when these lapses happened, it impacted on the confidence of the public in the process,” he said.

PDP spokesman, Dele Momodu applauds Labour Party’s turnout in Lagos

The PDP presidential election spokesman, Dele Momodu applauds the supporters of the Labour Party for their turnout in Lagos as Peter Obi takes lead.

Following the collation of results released in Lagos State, the LP presidential candidate led with 32,657 votes while results from three local governments in the state are still pending. Addressing the result, Dele Momodu applauded the winning party for the remarkable polls despite not being a member of the party. “Labour Party put up a spectacular display in Lagos and I must salute them even though we are not in the same Party” the PDP spokesman stated.
