CNN features Hilda Baci, applauds her attempt to break record

International news platform CNN has featured chef Hilda Baci on its page applauding her for her attempt to break the longest cooking record. Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci became the talk and topic on most social media pages after she embarked a 4-day journey to break the longest cooking record set in 2019.

The first female to hold the record of cooking for longest was an India chef called Lata Tondon. She cooked continuously for eighty-seven hours forty-five minutes. However, Hilda Baci has broken that record by cooking for 100 hours, 55 recipes over 100 meals and fed over 3000 people. Social media users especially Nigerians are currently eagerly waiting or Guinness World Records (GWR) to officially crown Hilda Baci the new record breaker. Watch the video below.

Well-known news anchor, Don Lemon has taken to his page to announce that he has been sacked by the media house, CNN. don lemon The news anchor took to his Twitter page to announce that he was informed by his agent that his contract has been terminated. Don Lemon’s sack comes after Variety published a story earlier this month alleging that Don Lemon mistreated his female colleagues over the course of his career at CNN. He also faced backlash over widely criticized comments he made on air. Lemon first came under fire in February during a segment on “CNN This Morning” in which he remarked that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, 51, was no longer in her “prime.” The comment was made while discussing a suggestion by Haley that candidates over the age of 75 should be subjected to mental competency exams. He said, “Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime, sorry,” Lemon said. “When a woman is considered to be in her prime — in her 20s, 30s, and maybe her 40s.” Reacting to his sack on Twitter, Don Lemon said, “I am stunned,” Lemon wrote. “After 17 years at CNN, I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.” pic.twitter.com/8PyLqvS0d7 — Don Lemon (@donlemon) April 24, 2023
