A young man has claimed to be the son of celebrity businessman, Cubana Chief Priest as he asks for them to conduct a DNA test. According to the young man by the name Emelin, people have been telling him that he looks likes the socialite.

He said that the crux of the matter was when he recently boarded a bus and one passenger likened his looks with that of Cubana Chief Priest. The young man said that he intends to conduct a DNA test since his mother seems not to be telling him the truth.

Nigerian celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest took to Instagram to celebrate Chioma Rowland, the wife of Nigerian singer, Davido, by posting a picture of the two of them accompanied by a heartfelt note. In his post, he praised her positivity and described her as a representation of the people from their state. He wished her the best in her future endeavors and hoped for an amazing year for her.

It is worth noting that Cubana Chief Priest and Davido recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to speculations of trouble between them. “Happy Birthday Mrs. Chioma Adeleke #thechefchi. There appears to be some tension between the famous musician, Davido, and his best friend, Cubana Chief Priest as they unfollow one another on Instagram.

The two were once inseparable and admired by many, but their recent action of unfollowing each other on the popular image-sharing platform stirred shock. After being unfollowed by Davido, Cubana Chief Priest responded by unfollowing in return. In an unusual move, the celebrity barman did not promote his ex-bestie’s recent Lagos concert, further intensifying the rumours of a fallout between the two.

It is, however, unclear what caused their split, but Davido recently cut off ties with many of his friends, including Ubi Franklin and Eniola Badmus, which has left many puzzled.

Retired Lieutenant-General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya, who served as Chief of Staff in General Sani Abacha‘s military regime, passed away at the age of 78.

Diya, who also served as a military administrator of Ogun State and was a lawyer, died in the early hours of Sunday, March 26, 2023, according to a statement released by Barrister Prince Oyesinmilola Diya on behalf of the family. Born on April 3, 1944, Diya held various high-ranking military positions, including GOC of the 82 Division, before eventually becoming the Chief of General Staff (military Vice President) to Gen Sani Abacha. “On behalf of the entire Diya family home and abroad; We announce the passing on to Glory of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, Lt- General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya (Rtd) GCON, LLB, BL, PSC, FSS, mni. Our dear daddy passed onto glory in the early hours of 26th March 2023. Please keep us in your prayers as we mourn his demise in this period.
