Nigerian man shares surprising encounter with prophet at church

Nigerian man shares surprising encounter with prophet at church

A Nigerian man recently found himself at the center of attention during a visit to his wife’s friend’s church. The man identified as @serial_ranter on TikTok narrated how his visit led to an unexpected encounter with the pastor. As the worship and praise session came to an end, the pastor took to the pulpit and, after a series of energetic movements, locked eyes with the man. Pointing directly at him, the pastor’s actions sparked excitement in the man’s wife and her friend, who urged him to step outside. Reluctantly, the man followed their instructions and stood at the altar, surrounded by the curious eyes of the congregation. However, confusion set in as he waited for the pastor’s next move. After nearly 20 minutes of anticipation, the man decided to return to his seat, only to be stopped by his wife and her friend, who frantically signaled for him to wait for the pastor’s “release.” The pastor’s attention finally returned to the man, and what followed left him dumbfounded. Accusing him of possessing a prideful spirit and having a spiritual wife, the pastor warned that unless he changed his ways, more spiritual children would be born to him. The man, quick to defend himself, pointed out that it was his wife who had invited him to the church. Undeterred, the pastor insisted on his claims, leaving the man and the congregation in a state of disbelief. The situation escalated, leading to chaos within the church. The man’s wife rushed to his side, apologizing for bringing him to what she now believed to be a false prophet. In his words; “My wife has been disturbing me to follow her to her friends church, according to her, the man sees and performs miracles. I refused and for days my wife began carrying face for me. Baby, what’s wrong with our church? I asked her one day
She said the man will see something for us “Something like, what are we looking for?” She said I should stop questioning her and just come along so I agreed and followed her and her friend to the church. “I was rocking the earrings my wife bought for me, and a week before she had plaited my afro this new style young boys normally carry but then I forgot my wedding ring, and so I started hiding my finger because I knew if my wife found out I forgot my wedding ring but not my earrings again, I am finished. Luckily she didn’t even notice and so after a few hours of worship and praise, the pastor climbed the pulpit and after jumping up and down he looked directly at me for so seconds then pointed at me. “My wife and her friend eyes lit up in excitement and both of them nudged me up and asked me to go outside. “Go where, did he ask me to come out?!” I asked them. They told me that’s how he operates. Once he points at you, you immediately run out because he has seen something for you. Reluctantly, I went out and stood at the altar where one of the ushers asked me to and everyone started clapping. “The pastor left me standing there, he started preaching and shouting while I stood there in front of the whole church, waiting. After almost 20 minutes of standing, I turned and started walking back to my seat but I saw my wife and her friend frantically waving their hands at me to go back, and then one usher ran and asked me to please wait for the pastor to release me
“Release me, am I under arrest?” I asked him. “Next thing the pastor turned to me and said, I am possessed with a prideful spirit and I even have a spiritual wife and that’s why I am not married yet. I looked at him and said it’s a lie, that it’s actually my wife that invited me here then I pointed to my wife in the congregation. The pastor did not even flinch instead he smiled and said he knows I’m married and if I don’t change my ways and cut my hair, remove the earrings and start living a holy life, more girls will give birth for me. “I told him I and my wife don’t have kids yet and no woman has a baby for me. He said he’s not talking about physical women that I have spiritual kids from my spiritual wife, and if I don’t change I will have more spiritual children. I told him as long as I’m not responsible for their upkeep, it’s fine. Church scatter, That’s how my wife ran and came to carry me from the altar and started apologizing to me for bringing me to the false prophet.” Read the tweet below: My wife has been disturbing me to follow her to her friends church, according to her, the man sees and performs miracles I refused and for days my wife began carrying face for me Baby, what’s wrong with our church? "Your natural hair is good for church, don't bring it to my event" - Khloe

BBNaija reality star, Koko by Khloe condemns natural hair and moderate makeup while emphasizing avenues where such are permitted. During a recent interview on Bhad and Boujee hosted by OAP Moet Abebe and Tolanibaj, the reality star condemned women’s natural hair.

When asked about her take on natural hair and wigs, Khloe affirmed that the former is only good when within the house and neighbourhood. While bashing women who prefer to be minimalist with their makeup, the former BBNaija housemate further added that wigs are a better option, particularly for events. In her words, “Your natural hair is good for church programs, pick your kids at school, but don’t bring it to my event. Why would I want to wear an expensive outfit, at least, I’d do a ponytail. They do something that pisses me off, they will now do small makeup saying they are minimalists.” Watch the video below … “Don’t bring your natural hair to my event” – #BBNaija alumnus, Khloe Koko pic.twitter.com/3ScONsO4yx — 🐬 @𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗯𝗼𝘆 (@OneJoblessBoy) December 8, 2023

He revealed that he has always invited musicians to his church and that pattern of evangelism has proven to work every time, as he believes that their presence would attract converts. He said; “It is not our first time inviting guest artistes. We have been doing it without a problem and I can give you a series of instances. We cannot go where they sell palm wine or alcoholic drinks and ask them to accept Jesus Christ. If I don’t apply wisdom, they will hit a bottle on my head. That was why I thought of a way to bring them into the church. “I also noticed that there are some notorious boys who cause trouble in the community, disturbing the authorities and engaging in cultism. I wondered how we can draw their attention so that they would have a change of heart. “We have gone to places where they are and they ended up beating us. Most of the members of my church are new converts and it was through that pattern that I converted them. “We will tell Portable not to dye his hair and he should not sing vulgar songs but to sing gospel music. We will also caution him not to dress inappropriately or climb the speakers. We will also warn him not to allow his boys to smoke here. We have invited close to 30 military personnel to man the event.” Watch the video below:
