#BBTitans: “I couldn’t stand Nelisa”

Big Brother Titans Thabang has revealed to his colleague Khosi how he couldn’t stand Nelisa when they were “shipping” in the house. Recall that before Yelisa; Yemi and Nelisa got evicted, Thabang and Nelisa were seen together on countless occasions. There were also times when Nelisa spent the night in Thabang’s bed. Social media users were of the opinion that Nelisa was the only one in the ‘ship’ as Thabang showed less interest in their supposed relationship. It appears the Titan housemate has confirmed the suspicions of fans as he confesses to Khosi that Nelisa meant nothing to him. The disclosure from Thabang comes when he was having a conversation with Khosi. He tried to convince Khosi that Yemi did not treat her well and should forget about him. Also, while they were chatting, Thabang disclosed that he was never interested in Nelisa. Popular politician and presidential candidate, Peter Obi has redeemed a pledge he made to a young lady who couldn’t afford to buy an oven for her baking business.

It would be recalled that during a press conference following the declaration of his political opponent, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president-elect, Peter Obi had narrated his encounter with the young entrepreneur. He had revealed that the entrepreneur, Ms. Gimba Sophia Emmanuel, who graduated in 2018 had told him that she had been unable to purchase an oven for her business. While recounting his chat with the lady, he had been moved to tears as he wondered how badly the state of Nigeria has become that a graduate couldn’t afford to get herself an oven for her business.

Days following this, the presidential candidate, who has taken the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the ruling party APC to court, has offered the Nigerian lady a financial assistance. He shared a photo of him and the young lady standing with a check of undisclosed amount held out for the camera. Mr Peter Obi wrote: “Today, I fulfilled my pledge to assist Ms Gimba Sophia Emmanuel in her aspiration to acquire an oven and start her baking and confectionery business. Interestingly, she had indicated that she would procure a Nigerian made oven, thus enhancing the value chain and putting into effect the production to consumption mantra. #PeterObi 🇳🇬”

Basket Mouth explains why he couldn’t vote

Popular comedian Bright Okpocha known well as Basket Mouth has explained the reason why he couldn’t vote in the 2023 elections.

According to Basket Mouth, he could cast his vote because shows outside of Nigeria and his international shows were planned a year before to secure a good venue. He added that he couldn’t come back to Nigeria to cast his vote because it would have caused him logistical hazards, hence his inability to vote in the presidential elections. Bolt driver takes home N70k wig of female passenger who couldn’t pay (Audio)

A South African guy recounted his encounter with two female passengers who were attempting to con their way into a free ride.

After learning that the ladies had no desire to pay for the journey, the guy identified on Twitter as @Phislash said that he took one of the ladies’ wigs.
The ladies convinced him somebody had ordered the car for them to go to a party, so he picked the ladies up late that night and drove the ladies to where they wanted to go,

When the finally arrived they said they needed to contact the person who had booked the car so he could come settle the car fare.
The bolt driver became suspicious that the ladies might not want to pay; one of the ladies had exited the car for over 10 mins without returning.
He queried the other lady but was getting to relevant reply so he decided to involve the police in the matter.
Lucky for the bolt driver, a police car was just cruising by at the very moment; stopping them, he explained the situation to them.

The policemen interrogated the lady who then opened up, saying she had no cash on her and she didn’t know who the other lady was.
The officers had asked the lady what she could offer in place of the fare, she said she had nothing; the driver had requested for her wig to cover up the cost.
The lady initially declined, saying that the cost was too much because she had bought it for R2, 500 which is N70k in naira.
The young cab driver wrote:
“Lord your female scammers request us (Bolt).
I drove all the way to Kempton Park from Pretoria delivering a pair of broke girls that think they can scam their way out of paying me.
Ended up taking their wig.”
