Kate Henshaw reacts to criticisms for hosting a fundraiser for APC governor, Hope Uzodinma

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw didn’t keep mum to the heavy criticisms she received for hosting APC Governor, Hope Uzodinma‘s fundraiser. Many were taken aback by the movie star’s hosting role at the celebration, considering she was a fervent advocate of the Labour party government and had harshly criticised the APC leadership.

On Thursday night in Owerri, Imo State, Kate Henshaw and comedian Okey Bakassi organised a fundraiser for APC governor, Hope Uzodinma. The governor, who is rerunning for governor of Imo state, wanted to raise money with the fundraiser.

As the event’s videos circulated online, many harshly criticised her. Kate Henshaw disclosed that a close friend had called her when she woke up to tell her that she was trending on the internet. In defence of herself, she said that she accepted her colleague’s invitation to hold a fundraiser and didn’t understand why so many people were upset about it. She claims that what sets her apart from other people is her unwavering commitment to speaking the truth as she perceives it. Kate Henshaw wrote: “Someone called me this morning to check the X app. I was invited to host a fundraiser alongside my colleague. I accepted, my prerogative. What is the noise about? “Lord please keep comforting May” – Criticisms trail Yul Edochie and Judy Austin adorable singing moment (Video)

Backlashes have trailed a video of popular movie star, Yul Edochie and his second wife Judy Austin singing adorably less than two months after he lost his first son with first wife, May. The actor took to his social media page to share a beautiful husband-wife moment of them trying to take turns singing in a car.

Sharing the video on his page he hailed his wife as an ‘Ijele odogwu’. This, however, elicited derogatory remarks from netizens who reminded him that he had recently lost a son, and his first wife is still grieving.

Falz reacts to criticisms trailing his abroad knee surgery

Popular rap star, Folarin Falana better known professionally as Falz reacts to criticisms from Bashir El-Rufai and APC supporters following his abroad knee surgery. It was earlier reported that the musician had revealed that he had undergone a knee surgery in UK after sustaining an injury while playing football last year.

Following this, it was also reported that the Kaduna state governor’s son, Bashir had gone online to ridicule Falz for going abroad to get his surgery done rather than going to a Nigerian hospital.

Falz who reacted to the criticisms blasted them for being stupid and looking for anything to drag him with. He wrote: “So pathetic these people are trying sooooo hard to latch on to this knee surgery gist. Eyahhh. Na so una dey desperate for ammunition. Just find a smart phone & google ACL rupture. ODE.
