Woman finds her lookalike on Instagram, kills her to fake her death

A German woman has been accused of killing a lookalike she found online in an attempt to fake her own death. The alleged murderer has been identified as Sharaban K, 23, while the victim was a beauty blogger identified as Khadidja, 23.

This incident took place in Ingolstadt, Germany last August, according to the sources. It was revealed that Khadidja 0 was stabbed about 50 times after which, her body was left on the back seat of Sharaban K’s Mercedes. Sharaban K reportedly had an accomplice identified as Sheqir K who she claims to be her boyfriend. Reports have it that they have both gone into hiding.

As soon as the body was discovered, police traced the car’s registration to Sharaban K’s family and given the current state of the corpse investigators assumed that she was the victim without conducting a DNA test to confirm. However, later on, after an autopsy was conducted, it was discovered that the actual victim was Khadidja 0 which prompted an investigation into the case. In recent news, it was reported that Sharaban K has been charged with murder after searching Instagram in a bid to find a victim who matched her physical appearance. Attorney General Veronika Grieser said: “It has been confirmed that the accused had contacted several women via Instagram before the act. who seemed to look similar to her. It can be assumed that the suspect wanted to go into hiding, due to internal disputes with her family, and fake her own death.”

A woman identified as Mrs Charity Upev has been arrested by the Benue State Police Command for allegedly beating her husband’s 10-year-old relative to death. Reports gathered that the suspect, who hails from Edo State, allegedly beat the minor to death at her home in Makurdi, the state’s capital, on Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023.

It was gathered that she allegedly attacked the minor for eating her chin chin without her permission. She also allegedly brutalized and broke the leg of the deceased’s sibling. According to reports, her husband brought the two children, who are his relatives, to live with her because his children are grown and are in the university.

Corps member escapes death after getting brutalized

An unidentified corps member posted to a secondary school in Osun State, has been assaulted by his students for reasons yet to be known.

Footage of the attacked corps member has been trending on social media. The copper could be seen with what looked like a deep cut on his dead and neck. He was left bleeding and blood can be seen running down his face and on to his white shirt. “We won’t take this,” said some of the voices in the background, while other students just stood there and stared blankly. It was gathered that the attack was carried out with a knife. Kunle Afod escapes death, driver burnt

Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has expressed his gratitude to God after surviving a ghastly accident leaving his driver burnt.

The actor disclosed in a post on his Instagram page that the bus he boarded got burnt alongside the driver. He revealed that an elderly man who came to help also sustained several injuries. Kunle disclosed, however, that although there were no deaths recorded a lot of people suffered a severe degree of injuries from the fire. Kunle Afod wrote on his page; “Earlier today, a disaster tend to happen as my bus got burnt, the driver was brutally burnt by fire, and also an older man who intend to render assistance was equally burnt but special thanks to God Almighty that no life was claimed”

Yul Edochie recounts last moment with AMAA founder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe before shocking death

Actor Yul Edochie has recounted his last moment with the late founder of the Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.

Peace Anyiam-Osigwe reportedly passed away at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on Monday, January 9, after a short illness. The news of her death was shared by her colleague Obi Emelonye, she wrote on her social media page, “Thank you and good night dada Peace.” Yul Edochie has also taken to his page to mourn the President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. He recounted how he had a phone conversation with Peace Anyiam where she told him all the plans she has laid down for the movie industry. He wrote: “Life is so uncertain. Just a few weeks ago I had a phone conversation with her where she told me the plans she had for Nollywood in 2023 and commended me for my work. Today she’s gone. Rest well Madam Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. May God grant your family the strength to bear the loss”.

Nedu’s ex-wife, Hazel Uzor, reacts unbothered to the news of her ex-husband’s newly found love as trolls mount her page with insults.

This comes after Nedu Wazobia showed off his new lover on the image-sharing platform, Instagram, with in a romantic setting.
Sharing a video of herself on her Instastory vibing to Burna Boy’s song, Hazel captioned it “una go dey alright.”

In another post, Nedu’s ex-wife shared a death threat from a troll who condemned her over her paternity issue with her ex-husband.
“Shut up you witch you give person another man child come the talk about domestic abuse them no beat you well if nah me i for kill you,” the troll wrote.
In response, she wrote, “death threats up and down … one of many.”

Man arrested for stabbing mediator to death during fight in Bauchi

Idriss Baba Saje, a 32-year-old man has been arrested by the police in Bauchi State for stabbing one Yunusa Garba to death.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a statement on Wednesday, January 4, said the suspect stabbed Garba in the chest with a sharp object.
The unfortunate incident occurred when the deceased tried to intervene during a fight between him and the manager of a hotel.
“On 01/01/2023 at about 0130 HRS, the Patrol team attached to the Command’s Quick Intervention Unit (QIU) while on routine patrol at Bayan Gari Area, received a distress call that one Idriss Baba Saje had an altercation that led to a physical confrontation with the Manager of Liberty Hotel Bayan Gari.
Yunusa Garba (Deceased) ‘m’, 25, who came to intervene was stabbed by the suspect Idriss Baba Saje with a sharp object on his chest, as a result, he sustained injuries.
On receiving the information, the aforementioned patrol team swiftly visited the scene and rushed the victim to Bauchi Specialist Hospital for medical treatment, but certified [email protected] by the medical doctor. The suspect confessed to the crime,” the statement read.

Burna Boy reacts to Pele’s death

Grammy award-winning artist Damini Ogulu well known in the music space as Burna Boy has reacted to the death of football legend Pele.

The Brazilian football legend Pele was reportedly hospitalized at the Albert Einstein Israelita Hospital in Sao Paulo before Christmas until he passed on at age 82.
The three times World Cup winner was said to have suffered from cardiac and other medical issues until his departure.
The statement reads, “Brazilian soccer legend Pelé, winner of record 3 World Cups and standard-bearer for ‘the beautiful game,’ has died at 82.”

Reacting to the death of Pele, Burna Boy took to his social media page to write, “RIP Pele. A man with a strong legacy that will be remembered FOREVER. Legends Never Die they are always Remembered in the hearts of the People.”

Scary moment man almost choked to death at dinner

The clip of a man who almost died, while having dinner with his friends has been making the rounds on social media.

The viral video sees the man seated with friends while they ate. However, the man is seated in an uncomfortable manner with his mouth wide open.
Sadly, his friends failed to notice and continued to eat like all was well. Thankfully, a stranger at the same restaurant noticed him and went to his aid.
The post reads:
“This dude is literally dying—and his friends continue to eat as if everything was normal—luckily he had a stranger on his side.”

Pregnant policewoman arrested over death of her maid

A Deputy Superintendent of Police at Oyo State identified as Omolola Omolabi has been picked up by the police over the death of her 14-year-old maid known as Tomiwa Ajayi.

According to reports, the mother of the deceased accused the policewoman, Omolola of killing her daughter, Ajayi.
The mother of the maid was reported to have handed over her daughter to her younger brother’s wife, Kehinde Ojo who in turn gave her to the policewoman who promised to support the young girl to learn some craft while working as a maid in her house.
However, after 10 months of leaving with the policewoman, the corpse of the maid was returned to her family covered with bruises and scars.
Reacting to the accusations leveled against her by the mother of the deceased, the policewoman said;
“I don’t know anything about this matter and the death of Tomiwa (Ajayi). I am pregnant with a baby, why will I want to kill her?
“The hospital records are there to show that we took her (Tomiwa) for medical care before she gave up.
“I don’t want my name soiled. Already, I know I have lost my job with the Nigeria Police over this matter. I pray that Tomiwa’s family will see my efforts in this area and know I did not kill their child.”
