Don Lemon sacked by CNN after 17 years
Well-known news anchor, Don Lemon has taken to his page to announce that he has been sacked by the media house, CNN. 
The news anchor took to his Twitter page to announce that he was informed by his agent that his contract has been terminated. Don Lemon’s sack comes after Variety published a story earlier this month alleging that Don Lemon mistreated his female colleagues over the course of his career at CNN. He also faced backlash over widely criticized comments he made on air. Lemon first came under fire in February during a segment on “CNN This Morning” in which he remarked that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, 51, was no longer in her “prime.” The comment was made while discussing a suggestion by Haley that candidates over the age of 75 should be subjected to mental competency exams. He said, “Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime, sorry,” Lemon said. “When a woman is considered to be in her prime — in her 20s, 30s, and maybe her 40s.” Reacting to his sack on Twitter, Don Lemon said, “I am stunned,” Lemon wrote. “After 17 years at CNN, I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.” pic.twitter.com/8PyLqvS0d7 — Don Lemon (@donlemon) April 24, 2023

Popular singer and music producer, Don Jazzy has expressed regret over his altercation with rapper, Olamide at the 2015 Headies Awards.
You may recall that in 2015, an altercation had broke out at the Headies event when Reekado Banks had won the Next-Rated Award over Lil Kesh. This didn’t sit right with Olamide who mounted the stage to say that the award, which comes with a brand new car, was meant to be given to the YBNL signee, Lil Kesh.
After he and his entourage left the stage, Don Jazzy also climbed the stage to address Olamide saying that if he wants the car, he should come take it. Don Jazzy who recalled the incident in an interview with Doyin, said that it hadn’t been an appropriate thing to do. He added that he had regretted what he had said immediately he left the stage; although, he has long apologized to Olamide and the Headies organizers for his behavior.

Popular music producer, Don Jazzy blesses a student with 500 thousand naira following lamentations over school struggles.
The student had sent a message to the Mavin Records boss, saying that school had become to difficult and everything felt like a struggle. The unidentified student added that they’re currently at a breaking point and needs hug from Don Jazzy. “Currently going through it at school. Almost at my breaking point with literally everything. I need a big hug,” the student wrote. Don Jazzy commiserated with the student and asked if receiving 500 thousand naira would be enough ‘hug’ for her. Famous British rapper, Stefflon Don reacts after being pushed to the walls by trolls who alluded that she is yet to get over her ex-boyfriend, Burna Boy.
It would be recalled that the singers went their separate ways in 2020 after being in a relationship for two and a half years. Stefflon Don in a recent tweet, without a particular context, noted how her side of the story might change the mindset of many.
“Hearing my side of the story would change everything,” she wrote. Trolls, however, flooded her page alluding that the tweet was about Burna Boy and how their relationship went south. One of the troll’s replies read, “2 years and u never still forget your ex na wah oo🤣🤣🤣men plenty abeg we no won hear leave burna alone save the story for your self I hope u learnt from it abi u won chase clout with burna?”
In a new tweet, Don lost her cool while rubbishing the ill comments on her post. “Delusional rats I have a life your brain cells must be the size of a sand grain are you not tired move along stray dog,” she stated unapologetically.

Nigerian food critic, Opeyemi Famakin has cried out after receiving death threats from Don Jazzy‘s fans over the review of Jazzy burger.
Opeyemi had done a review of Don Jazzy’s burger, 3 months ago when it was launched. He decided to do another review 3 months later, to cite improvements. However, there were a few lapses and disappointments, including the fact that he did not get a side of fries for a burger of N12K. In the process of the review, he called out Don Jazzy. British rapper, Stephanie Victoria Allen, better known by her stage name Stefflon Don, weighs in on the divorce case of the famous footballer, Achraf Hakimi.
This comes amidst the global reactions trailing the divorce of the Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi and his wife, Hiba Abouk. The footballer had acquired all his assets in his mother’s name, hence, leaving his wife with nothing to take other than splitting hers with him according to the law. Weighing on the issue, Stefflon Don emphasized in a tweet that splitting a man’s fortune should only be for those who shared part of the man’s struggle.
“No woman should be entitled to half of a man’s earnings if she hasn’t struggled with & help him get there,” she wrote.
