In a recent video, the reality TV star and entrepreneur addressed rumours that she was a part of the ongoing BBNaija season. She debunked the reports about her presence in the show, stating that contrary to what was speculated, she refused to join as she had a business to run in Qatar. The highly anticipated season 8 of the Big Brother Naija reality show will officially kick off at 7 pm today and the first look inside the BBNaija house had fans raving. This year’s edition themed “All-Stars” would be featuring some favourite housemates from the previous seasons.

Vee reacts to queries of being housemate of BBN All-Stars Edition
Nigerian reality TV star, Vee, has caused a frenzy online as she replied a fan who asked if she would be part of BBNaija’s All-Stars Edition. Victoria Adeleye, popularly known as Vee, in her response, confirmed that she will not be participating in the upcoming Big Brother Naija Season 8 All-Stars. The former Big Brother Naija star made this known in a response to a fan’s request on Twitter. The fan, identified as Jonlak01, tweeted on Saturday, “I need @veeiye on this all-star edition.” To which Vee replied, “Not happening.” The Twitter user went further to state that Vee was the only star he wanted to see on the show and if Laycon was picked alongside Vee, it would be a great one. Vee’s confirmation of not being selected for the show sparked mixed reactions from fans. Some expressed their disappointment, while others wished her well and encouraged her to focus on her music career. Vee was one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija Season 5 Lockdown edition. 120m up for grabs as #BBNaija ‘All Stars’ season begins July 23 Multichoice Nigeria has officially declared that the 2023 edition of the popular reality show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will commence on July 23, 2023. During a press briefing held on Friday, the organizers made a significant announcement regarding this year’s winner, stating that they will be awarded a staggering cash prize of N120 million.
This sum sets a new record as the highest cash prize ever offered to a winner since the inception of BBNaija in 2006. In an interesting twist, this season will be an all-stars edition, meaning that there was no open audition for regular Nigerians. Only celebrities will be participating, competing fiercely for the coveted cash prize over a span of 70 days, from July 23 to October 1, 2023. Additionally, the organizers revealed an exciting opportunity for 30 lucky fans to win N1 million each. This added incentive adds to the overall excitement and anticipation surrounding the upcoming season of Big Brother Naija.
United States to host first edition of FIFA’s 32-team Club World Cup in 2025

There would be four representatives each from Asia, Africa, and CONCACAF, which includes North and Central America, as well as six from South America. The dates, host cities, and match schedule for the tournament will be established at a later date. Asides from hosting the first edition of the expanded FIFA club world cup, the United States will also host the 2024 Copa America. They are also co-hosts of the 2026 World Cup along with Mexico and Canada. The African country also hosted the event in 2013 and 2014, and it has also been held in Brazil, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. This expanded version in 2025 is a huge commercial opportunity for FIFA to try new broadcasting models and sign new sponsors, funding hundreds of millions of dollars in prize money for the clubs.
Khosi emerges winner of #BBTitans first edition
Big Brother Titans South African born housemate Khosi has emerged winner of the first edition of the Big Brother Titans reality television show. This comes after 78 days on the show which witnessed a series of drama, competitions, and loads of fun between 24 housemates from Nigerian and South Africa combined. Khosi survived all six weeks that she was nominated for possible eviction and heading to the final week among the top 6 housemates. Her journey in the Big Brother house was unique haven survived the pairing evictions and two individual evictions. Kanaga Jnr was announced as the first runner-up followed by the second runner-up Tsatsii while Yvonne, Ebubu, and Ipeleng were the 4th, 5th, and 6th respectively. It was indeed an emotional moment for Khosi not just making it this far but going home with the show’s grand prize of $100k including a brand new car and other benefits.
