This was made known on Thursday 14th April by Mr Felix Morka, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, during an appearance on the Politics Today program on Channels Television. Morka added that Tinubu is expected to resume his duties promptly upon his return from Europe. Tinubu’s Whereabouts Ahead of Inauguration “He [Tinubu] is probably in Europe. He’s fine. After the elections and all of the energy expended, he just decided to take a moment of rest. “Once he returns and he’s inaugurated on May 29, there will be no dulling. He’ll be saddled with the responsibility of running a country as massive and complex as Nigeria. “I know he’ll be back in the country very shortly.” He added, “It is working rest because even in his rest, he is also taking the time to reach out to heads of government and other levels of leadership of other countries that are vital to the agenda that he’s bringing in his new government. “So, he’s not sleeping in his bed; he’s also in meetings regularly with all kinds of people who are travelling from other countries to see him preparatory to his inauguration. So, it’s a working visit.” 
According to reports from Sahara Reporters, Bola Tinubu’s health failed after the hectic elections that took place a few weeks ago. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that Bola Tinubu is traveling to Europe for medical attention. “Tinubu has left for Europe for medical care. He fell ill after voting on Saturday during the Lagos guber election. He was attended to by local doctors but he has left for Europe for proper medical care,” one of the sources close to him revealed. “He initially said his doctors should be brought down to Nigeria for him, and that when things die down, he would leave. But I’ve confirmed that he left last night (Tuesday night) because he is definitely ill,” another source confirmed. “His plane Falcon 9X with registration number VP-CBT can’t be tracked by air flight tracking websites”, Sahara reporters stated.
