The lady explained how she went to her friend’s place to get some documents which was when she realized her friend was diagnosed with HIV since 2020. She immediately confronted her friend who despite her diagnosis continued to have unprotected sex with her many boyfriends. However, the friend got mad at her, claiming she didn’t care about her own mental health and asked her to leave her home. The Zamfara State High Court has handed down a death sentence to Anas Dahiru, a resident of Unguwar Dallatu in Gusau, after he was found guilty of killing his friend.
Dahiru has been sentenced to death by hanging for the brutal murder of his friend, Shamsu Ibrahim, over a trivial dispute involving a mere N100 (One Hundred Naira) in 2017.
The presiding judge, Mukhtar Yusha’u, carefully considered the details presented by both sides during the trial.

After a thorough examination of the evidence, the court reached the conclusion that the accused, Anas Dahiru, was indeed responsible for the heinous crime.
In a solemn pronouncement, Judge Yusha’u invoked the stipulations of section 221 of the Penal Code, declaring Dahiru guilty of the murder of Shamsu Ibrahim.
Consequently, the court sentenced him to death by hanging.
