President Bola Tinubu has appointed Senator George Akume, a former governor of Benue State, to the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). Additionally, the President appointed Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, a former deputy governor of Jigawa State, as chief of staff and Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the House of Representatives, as deputy chief of staff.
